Timbs for now, gonna re-up my Clarks DB game once the spring rolls around. Fresh pair of sand DB is always appreciated.

I tried on a pair of Clarks Bushacres in beeswax. Don't know how people wear those or db's. Shoe has no sturdiness or support in it whatsoever. Only having 2 laceholes doesn't help either.

How do you keep your sand DB's clean?  Mine have a slight stain on the toe box.

Been rockin swamps and butters since highschool 8o almost a decade. Get a fresh pair of each every winter. Previous year becomes work boots.
There's some polo boots I mess with. And the bakin boots

Bushacres are different, the knockdown version I believe.

Just get your appropriate size, the shoe has decent support and sturdiness. Maybe you just got them too big.

And idk if its anyone else but I dont mind if my sand DB gets dirty. IMO they look better a bit dirty, gives them character. Mine are to the point where its just dirty.

I sized down and got a good fit. Just the structure of the boot itself feels flimsy. Leather is soft and loose around the ankle. Guess I just prefer a heavy boot with tough leather.

They'll definitely be warm. I have the shorter bean boots without the sherpa lining. Hard to get a good fit in these boots and the traction isn't good on them.

Dude LL Bean boots are amazing, I can only imagine the shearling joints are top notch…. my regular thinsulate pair still impresses me

good to hear.

I've heard nothing but good things. from quality to comfort. Only thing I know to do is size down.

Thanks y'all

May not need to size down if they are stearling. Dont those have more padding?

Kinda being reluctant since I grabbed a 10 in the Timbs. Im a 10/10.5 depending on what shoe im wearing, Jordans im a 10, mostly everything else I rock a 10.5 but they do get loose over time. I tried both a 9.5 and 10 Timb in store and the 10 had some heel slippage. The 9.5 was hard to get my foot into but once it was in it was fine..sorta. A little tight but could break in. I mean...I was wearing elite socks...

Should I call my order in and ask to switch to a 9.5?

Then again..dont know if I'll wear em enough times to break em in for a while.

Im thinking about this too much, Im just starting to hate heel slippage.

nothin worse than hearin that clunk like you strollin in some clogs, and most importantly, the lack of stability, caint eem jog for fear of my foot slidin clean out them boys lol

main reason why i lace my shoes up now, but my boots are usually tight in the ankle area so ive never really had that problem with my boots

I'm very particular on fit and heel slippage is so annoying. A little bit is normal in boots though.

Naw he's right yo, they went away for a bit, like a year then came back hard again. Like there was some cold season correlation or some ****.

This. I have never seen so many timbs. I mean I own a pair too but now it seems like everyone wears one these days

does anyone know how i can get this scuff out??

these fools from ubiq just threw the timb box inside  without even seeing if it was closed..

they came all scuffed and had this little mark, i know its tiny but if im paying 200 plus i want them flawless.

looks like its glue, also can you guys recommend some stuff to prevent scuffing and things of that sort.

they are the stussy collab.

like you said it looks like glue, you might want to try to pick it off really carefully using tweezers or a razor. i wouldn't try to use goo gone or alcohol, they time i tried that it just smeared the glue all over.
