Official FUTURE A1/FBG Thread

He's not lying, so I see no issue with what he said.

I don't think he was saying so much that Future in particular was to blame as he is there are a lot of weak-minded people out there who cling to content like Future's and let themselves ruin their lives trying to "live out the music" on some corny **** or because it let's them be comfortable in their mediocrity.

Future was just the best example to use right now with him being pretty much the hottest rapper out right now while also being a self-admitted drug addict who regularly discusses the ups and downs of that in the music.

It's just that people like to grab onto one point and ignore the rest, so he ended up having to turn his example into a full-fledged self-defense against #FutureHive :lol

Like most of yall, im waiting to see if we will get physical copies of DS2. Im still old school and dont like buying digital.

But if dig turns out to be the only option, then this will be my first digital purchase ever. Gotta do my part and support :smokin

I've went ahead and just accepted digital cause the stuff I like is rarely in-stores :lol. Digital has also recently increased my purchases as well, which was probably their plan all along

I know PLENTY of people who do drugs because rappers rap about them.

Lean was a very regional specific thing. How else did it become so popular all over?

Yup. It's a lot of people that try **** cuz rappers talk about it, next thing you know their addicted and can't stop even if they tried. I'm not putting the blame on rappers though. At the end of the day you gotta make your own choices. I been listening to rap my whole life and was never into drugs or alcohol. Never tried lean and probably never will. I got family members and friends that ruined their lives over drugs and ****. So I can bump the music but I know that **** ain't glamorous.

That's not the point. What I said was a response to your comment saying that the people you know don't do these things because rappers talk about it".

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm simply saying that there are ALOT of people that do.

You can't honestly believe that pop culture has no impact on how people live and think.

It's called pop culture for a reason

This dudes right , music has a huge effect on people. I think all artists realize that they have an effect on people. But you cant change who you are because of what other people are doing with your music. I would feel bad if i was him , but im not switching up my whole style to make people happy. Its his career

Why did future name this upcoming joint Dirty Sprite 2? :{

He of all people should know what that mixtape did for this city. There's no topping it honestly, it's like making a Thriller 2 :{ regardless my whip and my iTunes will welcome it.
