I wonder if Ned would ever tell Jon. Then go after the Lannisters with Jon having a claim.

Season 1, before Ned goes South and Jon rides off to the Wall, Ned tells Jon that he would tell him the truth about his mother the next time they saw each other. The rest is history.

Last name waters and snow is pretty dope.

Ned did promise he would tell Jon about her mother once he comes back from Kings Landing.

Shouldn't they be asking bran if they defeat the night king and who will be sitting on the throne at the end?

I don't think Bran can see into the future.

That was dumb of ned. Why wouldn't you tell him before he goes off to serve at the wall? You had his whole life to tell him but kept delaying telling him. Instead his crippled son who has mystical powers will tell him he just made it snow in his aunt's vagina.

ehh incest is nothing new, especially in Targs because a lot of their family history is Targ on Targ to preserve their superior blood line.

Ned didn't think he was gonna die so he didn't see an urgency to tell Jon. Better to have told Jon when Ned came back and Jon had joined the Black so Jon wouldn't care or worry about his last name since it doesn't matter in the Watch

I feel like a ton of the writing and dialogue issues this season were mainly involving everything at Winterfell. I was very appreciative of the scenes between Cersei and Tyrion and Cersei and Jaime. More than anything else that’s what I’m most excited for next season. How all this gets wrapped up because Cersei still has some sense of caring about family deep down, as does Tyrion. With him probably feeling left out with Dany and Jon will Tyrion actually turn on them, that would be so bittersweet.

And I need Cersei to die brutally but I’d bet that inbred fetus inside her is gonna be her downfall if you catch my drift.

Yeah, I thought they would atleast go back to the prison cell with the mother staring at her daughter's corpse.

I read a theory that Cersei didn't even poison her, and that it was going to be mental torture thinking that at any moment she was due to die but in reality, she was fine and just being held captive.

I wanted to believe that but I'm not sure if it adds up because we haven't seen them since.

Gendry didn't receive the bastard surname Waters. Bastards receive their bastard surname because they are acknowledged by their biological fathers

Bastard surname

180

From GoT wiki
The stigma of illegitimacy is so great that all acknowledged bastards born to a noble in Westeros have to identify themselves through a specific surname marking them as a bastard, which varies by region:

Flowers: The Reach
Hill: The Westerlands
Pyke: Iron Islands
Rivers: The Riverlands
Sand: Dorne
Snow: The North
Stone: The Vale of Arryn
Storm: The Stormlands
Waters: The Crownlands

Oh, man. That would be crazy if she really did that.

If it was the same poison that they used on myrcella as cersei said it was, then it works pretty quick. She would definitely know if she was poisoned.

I've seen this thrown around a lot, and while it is factually correct, I still think that Jon is going to be taken aback by what they've done because Jon wasn't raised a Targ so he definitely won't think that what he did was kosher. Dany might be less affected by it because she grew up thinking she would eventually marry her brother Viserys.

I mean most would want to know if they're about to commit incest. Even people in westeros would not want to do it by accident. Yeah the targs were all about it but that didn't mean people outside the fam approved.

lol but my point for all the viewers saying "ew incest", I wasn't talking about what the characters are gonna think about it. But while we're on that subject, bet once they both find out, they're gonna take long lonely showers like ace ventura

I was waiting on Tyrion to be offed last night, not even by the Mountain. It seemed as if they were emphasizing him drinking the wine. I was thinking that Cersei poisoned the batch, just knowing Tyrion can't resist a drink and would grab the wine at some point in convo.

Not even all the Targs were about it. Aemon's brother, Aegon V, was completely against it and made his children marry outside the family.

Close but I'm still taking Talisa

Not a fair comparison, you have to show the Frey chick out of character too.

Here comes auntie to rub some Vaporub on nephew

 Who me

That's LF face just now. I need a gif.

That look you get when the teacher call on you to answer the question and you didn't have your hand up,

Rhaegar lookin like viscerys.
Incest will do that, plus they were brothers lol.

So Braniac couldn't give Sansa and Arya the info on Littlefinger's past shenanigans when he first came back home so that the awkward conflict between them could've been avoided?

Word! I have a real issue with how they allowed little finger to roam around their castle like that. Bran should be doing a carfax on everyone that comes in his face.

Bran asking why Samwell came to Winterfell after explaining that he knows everything.

Its funny, but remember Bran doesn't just magically know everything. He has to have a reason to look in the past/present. Sam wasn't on his radar so he had no reason to know why Sam showed up.

My mind is blown.
Why? They've been throwing out signs of this for a while now.

He definitely creampied.

He's backed up, even if he tried to pull out he wouldn't make it

Don't know why tyrion was looking so sad

At first I was joking saying it's because he hasn't had any kitty kat in what could be a year or two. But I think he did something shady, or knows something and didn't tell Dany. Real talk.

Not Tormund.:ohwell:

Tormund is good, don't even worry. Him and Brienne have to reunite, :pimp:

Rhaegar already had a son named Aegon, but Jon will be called Aegon VI????

George FOreman did it , why can't Rhaegar?

Dany said she can't have kids but you know she will miraculously be pregnant next season. Snow went in raw and got trapped.

Two inbreeding couples with inbred heirs fighting for the throne. Stannis is rolling over in his grave.
I don't even understand why she believed that witch in the first place? She lied to her about Drogo.

This kind of bothered me. He's supposed to know everything, he shouldn't need Sam to come in and tell him to do more research.

The issue is how much time does Bran have to devote to each and every person in his life and otherwise. Plus he is still knew to this, and I'm sure its very overwhelming seeing all that stuff. Not to mention it can't be fun seeing all the evil and wickedness that men and women are capable of. He isn't watching a movie he's seeing real events.

Maybe he didn't wan't to witness the rape of his aunt by Rhaegar as the story was told. Before Sam mentioned it, he had no reason to question it. Maybe all he wanted to see, or allowed himself to see was her giving birth and asking his father to protect the baby. Some of ya'll talking about why he's a computer/robot now. It's because of all that **** he witnessed.

I meant all about it in that they were into it, not all of them. We know because they also married outside the fam like you said and rhaegar had a martell and stark wife. He wasn't waiting on dany to go through puberty to wife her up. I dunno about viserys though, he was a creep.

I don't think the incest part is gonna be hardly as significant for Dany and Jon as yall thinking it is. The thing that Dany cares most about is being the rightful heir to the iron throne so if this news gets out to everyone that's a major conflict on the horizon. Jon and Dany on opposite sides would be that bittersweet ending George been talking about all along

Viserys def wanted to marry Dany, he had to sell her to get his army tho.

Surprised viserys didn't check if she still had her hymen in that first ep when he was miring her naked.

That was so uncomfortable to watch damb

This show was so good that it really made people overlook certain things that are not cool at all :lol

but I mean if Jon and Dany marries, wouldn't Dany get the throne anyway :emoji_thinking:

The thing is tho, Jon don't want that seat. I'm pretty sure he'd let her have it.
