Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Hello Vegas Brethren,

First time poster, long time follower as I love Vegas myself.

Quick question to you all, I have a group of about 15 guys going to Vegas for our yearly trip, we have the club thing and day club settled for the most part, but for the first time ever most of us make good money so we were thinking of doing it nice at a good hotel this year.

Usually we'd get 2 Bella Suites at the Palazzo which is amazing, but i'm thinking of getting one of those giant suites to fit us.

We are going July 24th to July 28th (Fri-Mon) my friend has a Vdara price for around 2300 for the 3 nights which is a good price for a two bedroom suite, but my concerns are it doesn't have a Casino, and i'm worried its more of a couple and getaway type hotel as apposed to the more fun and loud hotels that we usually stay at (PH/Palazzo).

So my question is do you guys have any good recommendations for places to stay for around $3000 for 3 days, and any hook ups if that? Also has anyone stayed at Vdara with a group of guys and how did it pan out?

Thanks for the help!

Just did a quick search on Elara for those nights. They have up to four bedroom suites (all king beds) and a sofa bed included. After fees and taxes, the three bedroom is $3500. Two bedrooms is probably more in your price range. It's connected to PH, but it is a bit of a walk.

I'd suggest the Cosmo two-bedroom city suite (I've stayed in that before), but it's out of your price range as well. The Friday and Saturday nights are killer.

Thanks for the info, truly appreciated.

Any other suggestions by others is welcomed

Stayed at the Vdara (wrap around suite) and had no complaints. To each their own, but my group enjoyed that although there was no casino, we were well within close proximity to Aria/Cosmo sans the traffic. If I were to do it again, however, I would stay at Cosmo. That place is :nthat:

Yeah, FWIW, everyone I know who has stayed at Vdara really liked it. They didn't mind the no casino part of it.

I personally want to check Vdara out. Heard rooms are awesome but that no casino kills it for my friends.

Where is a decent/cheap place to watch the may fight? Are there any clubs that are showing the fight + turn into a club after?

Just heard Jay Z will be at Marquee fight night... I haven't been there in years, not sure if it'd be worth it or not.... temped to just hit

MGM properties are the only places you can watch on the Strip. It's $150 for the CC viewings.

Thanks for all the input fellas really appreciate it.

I've got the boys to pony up 4K for the rooms 3 nights so i'm looking at the Cosmo Options, anyone get the wraparound suites here or the 2 bedroom suites, any comments on those?

Ive stayed in the wrap around terrace. Its dope but its only a one bedroom 2 bath. Huge living room. 2 sofas. 4 seat glass table. A massive hallway inside the room that could sleep a few.

Stayed with my girl and the homie crashed the sofa. Will never forget that over the pool view while puffin js with my people. Luxury living b

The Cosmo room I was talking about has two bedrooms. One is a master with a king, the other room has two queens. There's a huge living room as well, and probably room for one on a couch. The only drawback is that they are (I think) at the end of the hall of the West tower. At least, that's where mine was. No balcony, and it's a hike. But the space is HUGE and great for partying. You could have 30-40 people in there if you wanted. Based on my check on the site, it was $4000 even for your trip, before fees and taxes.

The next step up is the West End Penthouses. I've stayed in those. If you could get them on board for THAT, you'd be a god. Those rooms are SICK. You don't even need to leave the room except to go to clubs. You can live in there for days lol.

Heard the Vdara Hospitality Suite is HUGE. Would be $3100 all in for those dates directly booked on their website. 2 bedrooms and a big living room. There are a few threads on jack colton about big suites and that one gets mentioned quite a bit.

Aria has one as well but didn't come up on the search so might have to call.

This? :wow:

Never knew this existed, thats dope. I've done a wraparound suite with an attached terrace suite. Fit 7 comfortably, but not everyone got a bed which I didn't mind cuz I rather sleep on the couch anyway.

Doesn't cosmo have a room that is on the same level of Marquee Dayclub? You walk outside of your patio and you're in the club.

Bungalow suites, only 1 bed though I believe

They have some really good deals on there.

Once again, thanks for all your help, I wish I had more reps to give out

Yeah Jack Colton is legit. Probably the best place to get info. I usually browse the forums a week or two before my vegas trips to get amped and updated with whats new from my last visit.
