Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

You got the Cosmo plug too?

Have to print out a form and get a manager sign

Can’t wait to see more about the msg

They’ve been building it for years. Some of the graphics were great.

vid about the history/evolution of casino/land ownership on the strip and how everything is owned by two companies nowadays.

doesn't seem like there's any collusion in the years I've been going, just management screwing us over by changing payouts to keep up with the other casinos (looking at you 3/2 blackjack  )

Here now and seen so many 6/5 blackjack tables and dealer pushes on 22

The strip is packed though and so many beautiful women everywhere... especially Cosmo/Paris

Dealer push on 22? Wtf?

Are you staying at an MGM hotel…?

**** I wished I would've seen this thread a few weeks ago. But having a blast out here and yes, there are beautiful women everywhere. Hell I just went to some popular local taqueria and most of the women look like those fine Latina reporters that we always talk about in here.

I didn't know it's Mexico Independence weekend....****s packed out here  Down big in the casino, but having a great time.

went two weeks ago, the Pleasure Pit at PH isn't the same without the dancers :frown:

going a few pages back brought back some good times. quick report; went with extended fam all eating and gambling lol.

Arrive Saturday, check in and rest lol. met up with the homie who moved out to Vegas a few years back, had pizza at Evel Pie. Not bad, nothing out of this world just a solid slice of pie. Crumbl over by UNLV for dessert, highly recommend. Lives up to the hype. Was down a couple hundred for the afternoon/night at the craps tables and slots :frown:

Sunday more losses at the bubble craps machines. Stayed at Venetian so checked out the Canal Shoppes since I've never been, pretty nice. SUSHISAMBA plays dope music in the evening. Had the Bellagio buffet, whack. The state of buffets on the Strip is awful now. Only a few reopened with increased prices and from what I've heard all of them are nowhere near how they were before the pandemic. I guess Bacchanal is the only sure bet nowadays but $80+ is rough. Was hoping for copious amounts of rare-medium rare prime rib and was met with overcooked roast beef. Walked around took in some of the fountain show on the way out, Cher- Believe gotta be one of the worst songs ever made. Made the trek from Bellagio to PH stopping at Cosmo along the way and took in Vegas. I love the Strip and the city and it had been many years since I was back, stood on the pedestrian walkway and just watched Las Vegas Blvd. at work. PH stadium craps brought me back to life, guy rolled for a solid 20+ mins hitting a few hard ways. That and a few slot come ups (in 20 out 80/100 a few times) brought my bankroll back to even.

Monday more rest lol, IIRC had lunch with the folks at some random food hall nearby. Played at Venetian and was down $200 early. Wandered around to give my wallet a rest, tried to find a craps table with less than $25 minimums. Another bad side effect of post-pandemic Vegas is the higher minimums everywhere, including mid-tier casinos. Was playing at Harrah's on Sunday afternoon on a $10 dollar table and sometime around 4 pm they let us know it was going up to $15. No thanks, color me up. Cashed out a small $10 bet on the Heat to pay $38, thanks Himmy. Made my way back to PH but this time at the craps single players machine and made a run. Hard ways hit, 6s and 8s hit, 5s and 9s started to hit, press up my pass line/odds to 10/20 hitting. In 100 and was up to 800 before smarting up and cashing out at $650. Came home with some money, Vegas paid for my Diablo 4 lol. Tuesday quick lunch, head back to SoCal.
The dancers were at PH tonight.

If anyone is there now or the past week please let us know how the MGM shhh show is. I’ve seen pics of lines snaking across lobbies 3 layers and folks waiting an hour or two to check in

I work at Park MGM, just don't play slots or else you're waiting for your handpay even for lower than a dollar. This is all MGM properties.

Checking in is all manual check in but heard some of the systems were up.

I also got paid half on my paycheck yesterday.

Parking is free at the moment and resort fees are being waived.

I pulled up to Mandalay Bay a few nights ago confused when it said entry was free in the parking sign. I didn't fully believe it so I asked the concierge and I was shocked that it was free.😁

Looks like we should expect a trip report from you as well

I was at the LinQ so the machines were good over there because I think they're under Caesar's hotels.

-Machines were out left and right at the MGM resorts
-Lines were long everywhere since I think some people wanted to switch the last second to avoid the chaos and still had to wait.
-I was mostly around a little last week and during theweekday until this weekend since my trip was split between here and Flagstaff for the Grand Canyon.
-Free parking in alot of MGM lots if not most.
-Mandalay Bay Check-In staff was stressed tf out when I went to check if my car was going to be good parked there.
-Did I mention that the lines were EXTREMELY long with people being offered drinks and water. I actually got a few even though I was just passing by.

I lucked out because I have no really allegiance to any of the hotels. I could have easily chose a MGM hotel if the price was right, but LinQ looked the best at the time.
