Having a night to sleep on it, a great year all things considered. A couple contracts will need to be sorted out this offseason, but taking Edmonton to 7 on the back of a 3rd string goalie is an achievement. Arty played excellent, but if you have Demko for that series maybe things are different. The team as a whole seemed to play with less confidence in front of DeSmith and Silovs. Boeser missing game 7 hurt as well.

Dallas teams are so terrible in Game 1s for some reason. I don’t think the Stars have won a game 1 since the finals in the bubble against Tampa. The Mavs have won something like 2 or 3 Game 1s since they won the title. Maybe the NFL should go to a 3 or 5 game series in the playoffs so the Cowboys can bounce back from an opening loss.
