+++OFFICIAL JAY Z THREAD+++

Girls wanna be cheated on so bad right now just to be able to relate to Bey and this 4:44 hype

I can't take females serious at times. With all the jewels on the album, that was the first **** that I saw on the gram.

All the jewels that were dropped and THAT was the standout to them :lol I'm baffled by it...to think my timeline went from being 'woke' to Beyonce :{ you would think this album would be a great 'woke' conversation for them...

Stop what? That's a f'n fact.

50 was the biggest in the game off of his tapes. His tapes was big. If you old enough you should know that. I smell p**** was big. Their remix of Victory was big. Realest N's was big. 50's remix of that LL song was big. You think his buzz was that huge just off of In The Club? That was the finishing touch.

But we're talkin mainstream appeal. None of those songs were known by mainstream America as dope as they were. As wack as Georgia Bush was EVERYONE knew the song. Mixtape song at that.

Even 16 year old me would have been embarrassed to type this

I'm alluding to how gimmicky Santana was.

This is trash and I don't know if it's Juelz or Wayne.

Juelz

Women are trying to bond over the realization that no matter how attractive and successful you are, you can and will get cheated on. Let them squirm.

Damn these thinkpieces are out already :lol

I've realized women just love to relate to struggle and overcoming something all the time :{

Ok. And 50 was doing all that. MTV was doing pieces on 50 based on his buzz from his tapes. :lol

Wayne was the first in this downloading internet era but he was not the first to make mixtapes mainstream.

Lamekilla wildin by saying everyone buying the Carter 3 justifies people calling him GOAT :lol
You might as well just lump in MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice in that category since everyone was buying their records at one point

You just proved my point with the internet era statement. Wayne is the poster child of the internet era of hip hop. Suburb kids wouldn't even know where to find a mixtape before '06. Wayne's new music on his mixtape was must hear for a good while. Even after Carter 3.

I'm not saying Wayne is the Goat and I even mentioned he's not in my top 5 I'm just tryna highlight how prolific his reign on hip hop was. His peak had a huge hand in hip hop being so engrained in pop culture.

Dawg no one is debating how big Lil Wayne was

The discussion was whether he belongs in the Top 10 of all time rappers and you are out here talking about another thing :rollin

If that's the case then I definitely feel like he should be in the top 10

I think top 10 from 2003 to 2009....but all time? in my opinion he isn't top 10.

In less than 2 seconds, we can think of 4 rappers to put on that list. Give me 3 minutes, I can easily give you a full 10.

LMAOOOOOOO u got kendrick in ur top 5
i swear he done pulled a greater trick than the devil
besides gkmc
dude aint good
matter of fact if I'm being real
the concept made the album good
moreso than the tracks
cause some was straight cringeworthy
and that voice he be doing is worse than em's
when he be sounding like that dog sock puppet thing

I'm not bold enough to put KDot in the top 10 yet
But he's number one of this generation
