+++OFFICIAL JAY Z THREAD+++

I like that he did his b-sides stuff and stuff like You Don't Know and Allure

Needa see the gloria carter interview.

Feel like it could be pretty interesting...

Would have liked to hear him break down what a classic album is to him. Feel like everyone has a different definition.

Vol 1 is a classic for me. I play every song except I Know What Girls Like and Face Off. Those songs are terrible
Vol 2 is a classic

I'm a huge fan of 3 and Dynasty. Not classics though

Blueprint is a classic.

AG is dope but not a classic to me.

I have two tickets to the Brooklyn show that I am selling. Holla at me if you are interested. 100 level seating.

Jay-Z has 4 undisputed classics.

1. Reasonable Doubt
2. Blueprint
3. Black Album
4. 4:44

Vol. 2 and American Gangster are great but not classics.

i dunno about 444 it will have to stand the test of time but the black album is def a classic.

^ I know, I meant almost classic. no such thing as perfect in art since it's subjective.

Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint are his only classics.

The Black Album, Vol. 1, and American Gangster are high quality albums but aren't genre defining or genre changing albums.

4:44 just came out, let it breathe a lil bit.

Black Album I would say is genre changing

How is black album not a classic? It''s a near perfect album. Probably his peak lyrically as well.

4:44 needs some time for sure but to me that's definitely his 4th and final classic.
