+++OFFICIAL JAY Z THREAD+++

reasonable doubt has the most replay value of any album in rap history which makes it the best
Truth!

It’s crazy cause I can be out and about just running errands and I all of a sudden recite lyrics from the album. Then I have to catch myself :lol

I could say the same for Its Dark and Hell is Hot

4:44 has a lot of replay value to me

but as a whole project, I usually throw it on while working on school stuff, it’s a smooth vibe

But yea RD is the one

Reading these lyrics from RD makes me understand that Jay really adapted and that's probably what saved his career. The lyrics are dope, basically poetic, but they aren't very entertaining. Like, a lot of the dopeness went unnoticed because it wasn't catchy even though he was using a lot of words. He basically moved his slider from less nas to more cardi b.

The **** is he talkin bout lol

Uhh, It's obvious.
Jay dumbed down his flow to appeal to more people. Which he said himself. After reading some of the quotes from RD and comparing it to 'take' em out the hood, keep em looking good, but I don't effin feed 'em", I see the difference.

Your example was terrible. :lol:

Ain't No N is on Reasonable Doubt, so he always had songs for the radio. All the stuff he said on RD he was saying on all his albums. His most "mainstream" album Hardknock Life had the same type of records as RD.

So in your opinion why didn't rd do as well? I never liked rd because it's not entertaining. It's like his lines started hitting harder and became more memorable when he made them a little more basic. It also makes his joints easier to learn (kanye is like that as well).
All I'm saying is he added a touch of ignorance and flair to his music and it worked.

Whats the run time for his 4:44 tour been looking like? Doors open at 8, what time he actually come on/what time did he finish??
