This has to be a GS pair or something, I’ve never seen an OG 7 with a full PU midsole. Most are like those Bordeauxs that were posted that only have PU inside while the visible part of the midsole is phylon, which doesn’t crumble.
For some reason, the only originals I see like this are smaller sizes made in China. Korean and Tiawan pairs for the most part have held up. They just separate from the outsole.

Its a size 6 pair on EBay. My original pair was a size 7 . They were leather upper black and reds. They crumbled as well.

I remember a long time ago reading that the gold on the Cardinals was supposed to signify Championship gold, and originally the top of the sneaker above the panel with the Jumpman was supposed to be Gold but they scrapped that.

That soon to they’ll revisit dropping OG 7’s again. Cardinals are not enough! Just reacquired the Hares, Prob gon get Bordeaux’s as well. Then Idk 2026 is looking dry so far

Yeah there gross but this might mean that they’ll be pushing VII’s next year. This year we got these take down V’s in store called the flight courts and they basically released all the OG colorways of the V’s since the 2020 fire reds. So I’m hoping these atrocities are a nod to the Charcoal, Bordeaux, Olympic, & Hares being a remastered since the 22 Cardinals. In on every pair.
