11s used to be such a joy to own

I don’t think I’d ever buy another pair now

i still like the concords, playoffs and cool greys tho

the comfort and fit of the shoe is just non existent now

This is what bothers me the most as someone who played in them growing up. It really felt like they molded to your foot.

I know we’ll never see it but some sort of “protro” using a modern midsole foam formulation and a heel Zoom unit would be nuts. I buy them out of a nostalgia then never get around to wearing them because of the comfort (or lack thereof)

This pair pretty much matches what we've been getting since the space jams that released years back. So obviously when nike remastered the 11s they had an og pair that was pretty much spot on to the pair that Jordan had on here . That simple

the cut wasn't consistent. Some pairs had a high cut like the recent retros we have. It's clear when they remastered the 11 nike had a pair with a higher cut to use an example

2016 Jam was too high. The 2018 Cords and 2019 Playoffs were pretty close though. But all the OGs were not always a high pl cut. Jordans 45 pes were lower cut as well.

Ppl are acting like the ogs were never that high in reality they were. Pairs were just inconsistent in the patent leather cut . Like the video I posted of a 96 retail pair and it's spot on.

As I said before when nike remastered them they likely used a 96 pair with the higher cut as a reference

I want my concords looking just like Mike wore them here. This is an OG pair. So if they vary, they may as well vary them to this length for the next OG cycle that's gonna start probably next year.

I think all thats being said here is releases like the 2016 Jam, the Cap an Gowns, with like 82 and 96 went a bit higher than the originals were. Even in the toe box areas, they were too high also. By the time the 2018 Concord released, they damn near nailed it.
