I don't believe in such thing as a "real" or "fake" t-shirt. If a shirt is wearable, it's "real".
However, it can be an authentic or a replica. Pretty much just semantics, but it's weird to call a piece of clothing "fake".

They fit pretty normal to me. I wear and XL for reference. I got a steph curry one around X-mas and that actually fit a little big.
