It does nothing for this series. But I want Buehler back next year. Outside of the Tatis home run. He was good tonight. The runs scored which were a direct result of sloppy fielding on plays that should’ve been outs is not on him.
He gave them 5 innings and likely would’ve gone more had the 2nd inning played out differently. But pitchers usually return to their previous form in year two back from a major injury. He’s one of the few guys on that roster that I know isn’t intimidated by the October pressure.
