wade killed tonight... 43 points.. chalmers did a good job tonight too.. dude does not give up on defense.. finally he looked like the game was coming to himinstead of trying to force things...
to bad beasley didnt get to play much... i dont think the coach knows how to use beasley to his potential yet...

Hmmm....with Amare sounding quite disgruntled lately I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him come to Miami in 2010 - after all, he is fromFlorida.

I was at this game last night.
I think Porter's days are numbered in Phoenix. The fans are already calling for his head, and he looks like he doesn't have a clue out there. None ofhis rotations work, players are complaining about his coaching openly in the media. Nash, Bell, and Amare have all made comments about his methods.
He came in to Phoenix talking about a focus on defense, but so far the only thing he's accomplished is to slow down the offense. So now their defense isjust as bad as it always was, and their offense is much worse.
Amare is playing uninspired basketball right now. He just goes through the motions out there. It won't be long before Porter loses the rest of the team.The more they give the ball to Shaq and let him get his numbers, the more everyone else on the team just stands around and will become more and morediscontented.
Soon the fans will quit showing up. I don't know if Terry Porter is just a puppet for Steve Kerr or what, but whoever is calling the shots needs to beshown the door - fast.

I thought this was a horrible hire for Phoenix from the beginning. After having the displeasure of seeing Porter in Milwaukee, I'm sure he is Kerrspuppet. I'm not saying Porter is a horrible coach, but for the personnel they have in Phoenix, he was probably the absolute worst fit possible for thatgroup. This keeps up, there will be lots of empty seats in PHX, so the owner has a choice...either the fans go, or Kerr and Porter go.

I know that the first year they made the playoffs, but I never got the impression that they were really a contender. The second year his team was awful. Wasthat the injury to Ford that caused it or was he just a bad coach?
How was his coaching like making adjustments, rotations, defensive assignments, etc.? Did he look like he had a clue out there? I've been to a couple ofgames, having just moved to Phoenix, and I just don't see him being effective out there.
