I don't get this move for Hinrich.....#17 pick is nice, but there is now a log-jam at PG....

I think there is still more wheeling and dealing to be done....Originally Posted by FRANCHISE 55

is that what he's labeled after stepping up his game (especially in the last 3 months of the season) and definitely helping us win it all in 2010?Originally Posted by ClevelandsPrince23

Before you start cracking jokes about Scheyer, don't overlook the fact that he'd be a terrific fit in Utah. He can play both guard positions and can shoot the lights out. I've heard him be compared to Jeff Hornacek, and it's not a bad comparison.
58. Los Angeles Lakers
Brian Zoubek | C | Duke
Zoubek didn't have a huge career at Duke, but he was a terrific rebounder and could give the Lakers some size and toughness in the middle.

All signs definitely seem to be pointed in that direction.Originally Posted by DoubleJs07

The Thunder want Aldrich, right? We're probably taking him anyway, so a deal could be worked out later if the board looks good at 18. I'd take Larry Sanders and Damion James over Aldrich, no question.to get soOriginally Posted by Kiddin Like Jason

The Chicago Bulls have a deal in place that would move Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick to the Washington Wizards, freeing up enough cap space to pursue two maximum-salary players onthis summer's free-agent market, sources with knowledge of the Bulls'plans said Thursday.
It wasn't immediately clear what Washington would send to Chicago in the trade.
Thedeal can't be officially consummated until July 8, when the Wizardswill have room under the salary cap to absorb Hinrich's $9 millioncontract without having to send back anything of similar value.
Since it's a good-faith deal for the time being, there remains a chance it could fall apart. But according to one source, the Sacramento Kings are prepared to make a similar deal with the Bulls in the Wizards' stead if that were to happen.
Eitherway, moving Hinrich and the pick would push Chicago's space under thecap from $20 million to more than $30 million. That puts the Bulls onequal footing with the Miami Heat in pursuing not just one but two members of a free-agent class that is expected to include LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire and Joe Johnson.
