Yea, but with some good searching and patience, these can be found for under retail. They were the last pair in my size.
My search for the 997PR's hash't been great for under retail, so the search continues.

Good looking out! It's unfortunate the biggest size is a 10.5 :/ I'd like to have a pair of these in my collection. Anyone know of a wider release?

Actually.. the suede used on the 996pr is the same as the cnotes and tannery 998s.. considering the value of those, these seem like a straight steal to me. I own all 3, and this will get themost wear by me. I got the 997pr, and out of the two the 996pr was the star.  I'm afraid the Georgia heat may melt that butter suede.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how these shoes have any relationship to NYC given the color scheme.  Am I missing something here? New Balance, you are crazy.
