Has anyone who has the jcrew navy/ evergreen 1400 notice the navy toe area looks ashy and a little faded right out of the box?? Does anyone know if this was done purposely by j.crew and new balance or if it's a flaw? Thanks in advance for any insight

You're not being bamboozled at all. It's quick and dirty like ordering a pizza. Literally takes me 3 minutes and then I get an email receipt followed by a tracking notification to follow via UPS app. Matt is a stand up guy and has helped me with ordering...at least 4 pairs now.
