The TS camo joints would have been much better with a different sole. They also would have made more sense if they dropped along side his LL Bean collection. But speaking of 992s being held back by all white soles....

been lurking for a while now and thought i'd contribute since this thread's helped me snag some great pairs over the past several months.
here are the 991ani's with some flat sail laces. was curious to see how close i could get to the jjjjounds, and i gotta say i think i prefer these and their story a bit more.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the women's pair of the 991ANI is much nicer IMO. The teal just does it for me much more than the navy on the men's pair.
Sadly these seem to fit tighter than my other 991s.... so likely have to return them sigh

I don’t think anyone disagrees with the women’s pair looking better. Unfortunately, they don’t come in all our sizes.

Snagged the last W9.5/M8 on newbalance.ca but I think these feel tighter than my other sz8 991
