I know 5740’s aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but for me they are one of the best fitting and most comfortable NB’s. I’ve cut down to half a dozen 990’s, about the same amount of 5740’s and a handful of 992’s and I’m straight. I’m done chasing the latest and greatest. I think I have a few 997/1500’s that I’ll be getting rid of shortly.

nbem Did you go with the same size as your other 57/40? I feel there's sizing difference with newer colorway where it fits smaller. I bought the LL, the all black leather one, and it fits tight, especially the mid-section. I compare with my other 57/40, and the LL does look smaller.

Yeah I did, didn’t notice a difference but I think all leather will have less “give” and probably fit tighter.
