They are just as long as the old 998s but much tighter in the forefoot. I would only consider sizing down if you have very skinny feet with a low bridge.MADE IN USA 998

It’s a little wider in the toebox but I have em laced loose and still no heel slippage in my NB size (10.5). Have a thumb of room in the toebox. Definitely less snug than the c-notes. I wouldn’t size down unless you have a very narrow foot.
