Broke out my 1300's the other day and found the spongy foam (found in the tongue) in my socks.
Needless to say it was annoying. Guess with time it started to deteriorate...and when i flip over they start to spill out from the gap tru the lace slot.

The 996 is a shoe that’s just kind of there if that makes any sense...There’s other models that share the same kind of aesthetic which are much more loved...574, 1300 for example...Even the 496 might get more of a nod in some NB heads eyes...

All that being said the 996 will forever bring up thoughts of one thing for me...The 1988 Tyson Spinks fight in Atlantic City...

yeah they're most definitely the basic 574gy. I had that grey NB / military green combo memorized for so long. belly influenced a lot of outfits in the 2000s from that one to nas's bubble north face in the range rover

Bryan pant by Stussy from a while back. They actually got an elastic waist which is a little odd at first but it makes them more comfy than your typical chino or dress pant.

Thanks. I need to give the shoes a cleaning. Havent worn them since last summer and theres some scuffs and dirt to get out.

Originally I was a little upset I didnt get the matching socks with them but I like not having a "set" pair to wear with them. And I think these orange socks might work better than the actual stance pair they were supposed to come with.
