I love the look of the jcrew 997s, but $220 is steep. Then again, I pay $220 for Jordan 11s and Yeezys, no problem, and these have nicer materials. Maybe it’s because NBs usually go on sale that I can’t justify $220.

The yellowed midsole on the 550 makes a big difference.
I still really like the model and will grab a couple pairs but I do wish they had that aged look like the ALD 550s.
