The Joba era might be just coming to an end. As many have said, we've %*!@!# with his arm/psyche so much over the past two/three years. Perhaps the new pitching coach, whoever he will be, can help out Joba regain his 2007 form.

Joba himself can get a head start by doing some *(@(&*$(@ jogging and running this offseason.

The Yankees are an automatic 95 win team, barring any major injuries and even with the ones you guys had, they still managed to get to the ALCS. I think the layoff you guys had an impact, personally.
EDIT:

As far as Jeter is concerned, didn't he hit like .320 or .330 in 2009? Maybe he just had a down year? The man still has wheels.
Word, Jeter had an MVP season and won a gold glove.

People here have the shortest memories I swear

I'd give Joba one more chance. After all we've done to mess him up and after declining trade after trade for him, we have to.

If we sign John Buck or any other $@*$+@! catcher out there, I swear to God I'm going to boycott this team next season.

THIS! Cashman made it sound as though they see Joba as a bullpen guy moving forward. Joba needs to grow a sack and work out this offseason with the intentions of being a starting pitcher.
We need a catcher for next year as they bring Montero in. Cervelli not cutting it and Posada getting closer to primarily being a DH this upcoming season which is also the last on his contract

Montero needs to be there from Game 1, there's no reason to keep him down in AAA anymore there's nothing left for him to do.  If they trade him, I'm finished.

Stellar job by the fans.

Fans' treatment of Cliff Lee's wife at Yankee Stadium might not help the Yankees' recruitment of one of the game's top left-handed pitchers.

During the AL Championship Series games in New York between the Yankees and Rangers, fans were extremely rude to Kristen Lee, spitting and throwing beer in her direction and shouting obscenities, according to USA Today.
Picking Up The Pinstripes
The Yankees need to retool after an ALCS defeat. Tell us which ones you'd keep -- and which ones you'd cut.
Vote: Take 'Em or Trash 'Em?

Lee starts Game 1 of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday after helping Texas beat New York in the ALCS in six games. But there has been widespread speculation that the Yankees will make a serious run at signing Lee when he becomes a free agent after the season.

The reported incidents could not have helped that cause.

"The fans did not do good things in my heart," Kristen Lee said, according to the newspaper. "When people are staring at you, and saying horrible things, it's hard not to take it personal."

Kristen Lee sat in the visiting family section, according to USA Today.

What could counter-balance Kristen Lee's bad experience is her close relationship with CC Sabathia's wife, Amber. They have been close since Sabathia and Cliff Lee played together in Cleveland.

Cliff Lee and Sabathia are friends as well. The Sabathias and Lees already were discussing where the Lees should live when it appeared as if the Yankees were going to make a trade for Lee in July.

The Yankees are expected to make Lee their No. 1 free agent target. He will likely receive a deal in the five-to-seven year range at $100 million to $150 million. It also could be Lee's final major contract; he turns 33 during next season.

really really poor move by the fans, not even in the sense of getting Cliff Lee next year but it makes no sense. Why harass her when she has nothing to do with the game and not to mention its a scum bag thing to do...leave that for the Philly fans
