Pretty sure every league does the same thing or something similar? It's like when Kobe Bryant breaks a collar bone, they don't hide that info and keep it private, but instead they put it all over the news and it gets reported every where.

At least on my end I know how serious my employer takes these things so I'm shocked someone had the balls to do this. I've seen minor **** have the place on pins and needles so I can only imagine what's gonna go down at that hospital

In talking about HIPAA, how do we know that someone from JPP's camp didn't leak the info to Schefter?

In the aftermath of the incident, and on the heels of losing out on millions, I think he's trying to do whatever he can to play chess instead of checkers.

That's literally a medical chart from the hospital. I don't even think a family member is allowed to take a picture of that with their cell phone (top part)

Bottom part possibly could've been in his possession but I don't see the benefit of leaking that out while you're currently in surgery

Either way jobs will be lost


I literally don't even talk about work at all on social media cause the line is to thin in causing a violation.

Any click on a patient chart better be work related because if it isn't you can lose your job. Companies spend millions to prevent this type of stuff

We technically don't know if someone from JPP's camp took the picture but unless authorized by JPP himself or his durable power of attorney, it's a HIPAA violation from a medical worker for even showing that info to anyone not authorized assuming the worker was also authorized took look at that info in the first place.
