Colombo could be next to go in Dallas if they re-sign Free. Colombo declined a restructure earlier, called back and was told to wait.

Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole reports the Cowboys and Bucs are in a "dogfight" for free agent OT Doug Free.
"Could get really expensive," adds Cole. The Bucs have as much cap room as any team in the league, and Free fits their profile of investing in talented young players. The Cowboys have been clearing out salary cap space all day, and won't go down without a vigorous fight.

I was semi-excited when they traded for him. Admittedly, it was stupid.
It's a 9 million dollar cap hit for next season in straight dead money ... ... ... THAT'S why some people are up in arms about it, not to mention you are basically saying that the trade wasnt worth it ... mainly because our quarterback couldnt get him the ball where he needed to get it to him in the beginning ...

Bottom line, Roy E would be the best #3 receiver in the league ... He would be in the top 10 of number 2's and could be a #1 on a select few teams who are straight hurting for receivers ... he is a veteran who is a red zone threat and can move the chains ...

I was on Roy as hard as anyone especially after that Saints game ... In fact, you can probably find some posts where i said i'd like him to shoot himself ... but sans emotions, Roy was solid ... he seemed to be putting it together last year ... Romo seemed more comfortable with him once he realized he wasnt TO and learned to throw differently to Miles, Witten and Roy ...

He obviously didn't live up to a 1,3 and 6 and 20mil guaranteed, but what are you gonna do? We have 3 pro bowl caliber pass catchers on the team ... He did as well as he could given the balls he got ... He was far from straight buns as a receiver ...

I'm glad we cut Roy, wasted picks on him and he didn't deliver. I'm upset about Barber tho, I'd prefer him and Jones in the backfield. He's a solid 4th quarter back, we def need that the way Romo gets antsy and let's games slip at times.

We need Columbo or Free. I'm not mad they tryna get Nnamdi but we need a strong line

I can't wait until Donovan McNabb and Tarvaris Jackson fail miserably ... I don't understand how people get excited about these bum sauce bammas ... They have proven NOTHING over the past 3 years ...
