Dont think there is one of these yet. And all NFL related threads are turning into MVP threads. Mods lock if necessary....

The current candidates: Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Chris Johnson

Not much discussion to be had right now. It's either Favre, Manning, or Brees...

I THINK Favre will take it home, but what Brees is doing right now in New Orleans is unbelievable. Crazy to think how far he's come since getting run outtaSan Diego...

The Titans have to make the playoffs for Chris Johnson to throw his name into this thing IMO...
 
Favre or Manning right now. If the Colt go undefeated its gotta go to Peyton. If the Vikings keep this blow out pace up it will go to Favre. CJ wont win it buthe will get Offensive Player of the Year.

If he finishes strong I'm going with Chris Johnson. Favre second, Manning and Brees 3/4 whichever order you choose.
 
they'll give it to favre cuz he's favre... but manning deserves the MVP. the colts have so many flaws and it;s been all manning this year for them.....

No way Favre is ahead of Manning if he's ahead with a worse record. Plus Manning is doing it with much less than Favre for sure.
 
If the Titans make the playoffs, and CJ gets over 2000, I don't get how you can't give it to him. I realize it is a QB's league but what dude isdoing is ridiculous.
 
Penny has a point about CJ. It's a QB league, well what makes Brees more valuable then what Manning or Favre have done? Or what has Manning done thatFavre and Brees haven't and so on?

But CJ is in a class by himself right now. IF, IF he can make a run at 8-9 wins after bein 0-6 and push over 2G and have a bunch of touchdowns, no other backswill match that, the 3 QB's could cancel out each other and CJ could end up with the win. Just another angle to think about.

I agree with this. If CJ gets to 2k, he will win. There really shouldnt be much of an argument about it either. CP is right. All 3 QB candidates are fairlyinterchangeable right now. There is no RB that is even close to CJ right now.
