Everyone needs to calm down lol. Stadium issue is farrrrrrr from over. Not saying the stadium cant be built in Indiana , but until I see a large piece of machinery move dirt around , I won't believe anything.

If the stadium is built in Indiana , we would still be the Chicago Bears. There's not even a finalized building site in Indiana, but the general area the Bears are looking at is actually closer to Chicago than Arlington Heights is. But like I've said...this crap is FAR from a done deal.

Right. It’s all posturing to get public funding from Chi. Wizards/Caps owner pulled a similar move recently. Announced plans to move the teams to VA since DC wasn’t giving funds to update the arena. After he did a press conference with VA officials DC suddenly handed him a $500M check . He had a good amount of leverage though since DC’s Chinatown would basically die without the Wiz/Caps.

Bears dont want any public money. They want tax and infrastructure certainties. If they did build in Arlington Heights, they'd be the highest taxed team IN THE LEAGUE! And they would agree to that but Illinois is so god damn greedy. And Pritzker, who is gonna run for president , wants to make it seam like the Bears are the bad guys trying to bully the fellow tax payer.
