sigghh rest in peace to Aldon Smith. this man was so electrifying on the football field. as a niner fan, he brought us so much excitement and was fundamental to the revival of a franchise mired in mediocrity. no QB was safe with him on the field.
it absolutely sucks that he was battling so much internal adversity and mental health issues. it was evident early on in his career, from the DUIs and accidents to the airport "incident." so, so damn tragic.
i just watched his interview with tee the barber. maaaaan from the jump, when Tee asks him how he's doing and he said "i've seen better days".. ****, to hear him say that only a few days before he passed away
the whole interview he's detailing just how rough life was for him after his last snap of football. may his soul find peace in his afterlife.
