I said earlier if the Pens lose THE SERIES then Crosby will get blame from at least me and probably others. I'm able to insert a bit of objectivey, but I'm not going to jump to conclusions considering it is 2-2. It's got nothing to do with Crosby and everything to do with the way you carry yourself in here. I couldn't care less how long your family has had season tickets, why do people always have to resort to lines like that? It's pathetic, sorta reminds of a kid on the playground puffing his chest up saying his dad can beat anyones dad up. Nobody gives a #+!+ if your family lineage has handed down Capital fandom like a family heirloom. I am Russian for your information and only follow the Caps because of Alex. ?  Am I lying?  Outside of his first playoffs with Vancouver when they had one of the best defenses in the league, what has he done that is so phenomenal in the postseason that warrants his gigantic accolades?  A extremely good goaltender I will give you that and that series against Turco was one of the greater postseason goaltending performances I've ever seen from both sides.  After that Dallas series, it was a ton of soft goals against Anaheim.  Last year, faced the weakest offense of the postseason in St. Louis and still gave up soft goals.  Completely folded and surrendered against Chicago last year and is looking not so hot this year again.  I'll hold off any further judgement until the series is over to keep Vacouver fans happy

I'm watching sportscenter and not only does melrose completely avoid criticizing Crosby for anything, he then goes on to say "malkin and Crosby, the two best players in the world, don't want to go to a game 7 with halak ..." lol ... I mean it's one thing to be a Canadian homer, but his hate for OV and the hate the NHL network anchors have for OV is disgusting ... Add to that the idiots on versus and it turns a hockey fan away from watching great playoff hockey ...

All I'm asking is why is it Ovechkins fault for losing to the habs when he had 5 goals and 5 assists, yet when the penguins are tied 2-2 and Crosby is non existant, no one says anything ... When you have habs fans booing the national anthem of your country, you can't tell me there isn't an element of patriotism inserted into your hockey fanhood ... But they wouldn't dare boo the pens because of dear old Cindy ... That's why real caps fans despise Crosby ... He is the epitome of a flakey Canadian who hates America and turns his nose up at everything not Canadian ... And all the Canadian people this country employs ride his jock ...

I do understand the level of disdain for Crosby. I disagree with your rant about Ovi being hated by the NHL network & Versus. Hockey is a team sport, not an individual pissing contest. Ovi is the face of the Capitals and while I don't believe it was his fault we lost (the Habs literally shut us down on both ends of the ice) someone has to be at the forefront. If you want recognition when things are going well, you must assume the same responsibility when they aren't.

Let's give Montreal a deeper look. They have been succussful at clogging lanes and creating oppurtunities. Their goalie is the real MVP of these playoffs right now. They shut us down because they capitalized (no pun intended) on our weekness, which unfortunately isn't too much of an issue in the regular season, but we all know how things change come playoff time. They are doing the same thing to the Pens, except their weeknesses differ than ours. The Pens aren't that good, though the media would have you believe otherwise. I still see Pittsburgh squeezing by in a 7th game, but Boston is going to shock the NHL world when they advance to the SCF.

I am embarrassed for you the way you cary yourself. You are very childish with your countless whining replies and your constant "Cindy" comments. We get it, you're a "Real Caps fan", hell I think everyone in here knows by now that your family has been season ticket holders since the 90's : lol . We also are well aware that you hate Crosby, guess what? A majority of us hate him, but respect his talent. You act like a child in here and it's wearing thin on a few of us. Not because of the player you despise, but the way you go about announcing every chance you get like we have forgotten. Suck it up and accept the fact that we have been eliminated. that was me regarding the hawks as underdogs. everyone was saying oh the canucks are balanced, fast, can score, luongo, ..... everything and was picked by most to dispose the young, soft hawks. after the preds series, hawks were considered not playing tough as they did last year. im just saying. first they face rinne. now luongo. its not easy with those goalies. and that is why they play the games. its why the top 3 seeds in the east got early tee times. btw not taking shots at the devils, caps, sabres fan here. im just trying to make a point. peace.

Last nights annihilation of the Sharks gives me hope,  I know that only 2 teams have come back from being down 3-0. As crazy as it sounds I am pulling for Pittsburgh in the East. I want revenge for last year and even though hockey fans outside of Detroit-Pittsburgh don't want to see round 3, I do.

Right.

You see what you wanna see.  His first postseason was one of the best ever statistically, .941 SV% and 1.77 GAA.  How are you faulting him for losing to Anaheim, the clearly superior team in every facet of the game, that went on to win the Cup?  He made 58 saves in the game that Vancouver got knocked out in and kept the series closer than it had any right to be, I think they lost most games by a goal.  He out duelled Turco who shut the Canucks out 3 times in that series and still ended up losing. 

Against StL, one of the weakest offenses in the league, Luongo gave up 5 goals in 4 games.  Ton of softies there

He's had one bad series in his career and one terrible game.  It's pretty obvious you're not holding off judgment at all, you're completely biased against him and it shows. 

at you saying Luongo gets flustered at every little thing, when he is the most interfered with goalie in the playoffs every year, hands down.  When Halak gets a goal waved off for getting his skate lightly brushed against, and Luongo gets nothing when two guys are completely bum rushing him into his own net, you know something is wrong with the officiating in the NHL. 

Tonight, the Nucks are going to take runs at Niemi, and they will get called for goalie interference while Chicago won't be.  Book it
