Because Nike hates their customers, and they’d rather release colorways that will end up on clearance racks, outlets, and discount stores, instead of giving us what we want. Even though they’d be able to sell 100,000+ pairs of these at retail.

Aight, so I'm calling BS on this CW. For those that actually remember that commercial....we ain't buying those for the most part. For those that actually likes that CW....has no F'n idea what that commercial looks like (unless they find it on YT), and even so, they won't care. They still throwing stuff at the wall hoping it sticks and asking us to spend money, yet they can't get the correct royal hue in the Home/Orlando Penny 1s...(not that it was enough to stop me personally from buying), but c'mon man

While things might have cooled down for the Nike Air Max Penny 1, the Swoosh still has more colorways planned for us. Many of these new iterations draw inspiration from things connected to Penny, such as the Lester Middle School and Stadium Green pairs. The Nike Air Max Penny 1 Penny Story is fresh for the new year, again giving props to Hardaway's sidekick, Li'l Penny.

I feel like when i was a kid there was a team version of the Nike Air Way up that looked like what you are describing......
Like the reverse of this...I can't tell if the image is navy or just the lighting/filter has it looking darker and it's actually a royal.
