Its free, takes minimal effort, no maintenance, and is the fastest way (sometimes the only way) to get a link to a release on nikestore.  Just make an account.

The part that most people are mad about is the feeling of having shoes in your cart then timing out or getting to the payment screen seeing the tweet thinking ok ill wake up in the morning and be good only to find no Yeezys in your cart

No thanks, did it the old fashioned way and landed multiple pairs. Bad enough there aren't enough to go around but now I can't even enjoy a basketball game because I'm glued to my comp waiting for a link, eff that. 
And now certain shoes aren't even being released on NDC like obsidian 12s, glad I don't fully rely on technology or I'd be screwed and have no connects when the internet leaves me SOL

People still complaining about the release cmon get over it already I understand the release obviously didn't go well for everybody since Nike decided to keep it super limited but its the only way to keep demand up imo..lets face it if there were more pairs and everybody had em on their feet would they still be just as special to everyone..I highly doubt it..nowadays everyone hypes the **** out of every jordan that comes out so if a shoe like the yeezy comes out just imagine what could happen and that is exactly what did happen..chaos

Yeah, the midsole paint job on the 2's was crappy.  You could see it real bad on the platinums.  So people who paid thousands are in for a big surprise.  lol

This was the ONLY time I have ever needed a link to get my kicks online..  They are ALWAYS up before the link goes out

Sneakerpimp, you don't have to have twitter to stalk Nike's twitter page.  Just makes it a little easier esp. if you get notifications sent to your phone.  Tweeting of links is like website suicide..  Thousands going to the same page at the same time
