There are three "methods" of entry - hence, three options for entry. Even if there were 50 weeks of the contest, you can still use one of the three methods.  And note that one of the three methods is a free entry, which is required by law.  Also note that the site gives three "methods" to enter in the code.  Obviously one of us is familiar with contract interpretation.  But go ahead and knock yourself out with your interpretation.

Prize award notices will be sent to each winner approximately thirty (30) days after winner verification detailing when winner should receive prize, which is expected to ship within six (6) months. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission for Sponsor, Nike Inc. and their agents to use each winner’s name, prize won, hometown, likeness, video tape, photographs, and statements for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission.

RELEASES: Entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Judges, and on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Releasing Parties”), release, defend and hold harmless Sponsor, any entity involved in the fulfillment of the prize(s) or the administration of the Sweepstakes, and their respective employees, officers, directors and agents of each (“Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, reckonings, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, extent, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law, admiralty or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter can, shall or may have which in any way arise out of or result from entrant’s participation, acceptance and use or misuse of any prize, including property damage, personal injury or death. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of any prize or for any suspension of the Sweepstakes or inability to implement the Sweepstakes or award the prize as contemplated herein due to any event beyond its control, including delays or interruptions caused by acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, utility outages, acts of terrorism or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or regulator. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage Giveaway’s website or undermine the legitimate operations of the Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law.

DISPUTES: This Giveaway is subject solely to the applicable federal, provincial, state and local laws of the United States and Canada and is not subject to any laws outside of the United States and Canada; provided, however, that, except where prohibited, by participating in the Giveaway entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in an arbitration to be held at the AAA regional office nearest the Sponsor where the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; (b) a judgment upon any such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction; (c) to the degree any dispute, claim or cause of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize awarded is not subject to arbitration, then it shall be adjudicated exclusively by the appropriate Federal or state courts located in New York City, New York, U.S.A; (d) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (e) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (f) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New York or any other jurisdiction) which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.

From my logical interpretation, entry period matches with entry method... meaning week 1 = cd releases (hence the 20 pairs)... week 2 = itunes codes (hence the 20 pairs).... lastly, week 3 = free entries (why they only gave 10 pairs out to this one)

Legality issues alone make this a 'no purchase necessary' give away, while still rewarding the people who purchased the music

You guys can interpret how you want, but for me, I am entering a CD code for week one, an itunes code for week two, and a free code for week 3... because all other entries that do not follow the rules are marked as void... which I foresee being the majority
