Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

Yall watch shows with you kids and get too technical

Im watching paw patrol and was like they never pick sky even though she could complete stuff faster.....cuz she can fly

Also chase only block streets..... You useless fam

I watch some pj masks with my daughter, that damn gecko kid is a such a baby. Dude irks me because he never listens and always messes up the plan.

I remember when we were watchin' Doc McStuffins my 11yr old son goes, "You can tell that grass is fake."

I was flabbergasted

PJ Masks, Paw Patrol, Curious George, and Mickey Mouse are on heavy rotation in my house. Also, there is this cartoon called Sunny Bunnies on YouTube that the kids love.

Mickey mouse, Peppa Pig, and Little Einstein's is what we watch :lol
I think my daughter just likes to sing the Einstein's intro with me though. Which sadly I knew from the Instagram videos :lol

Super Monsters, Peep and the Big Wide World, Pocoyo, Puffin Rock and fair amount of movies

You guys watch Andy Mack.
That show is crazy lol

As much as I love American dad, I try not to watch it with my lil ones in the room. They good for perfectly repeating all the wrong stuff. Usually play something for them on the tv and watch my shows on my tablet.

One of the more impactful things you can do is get down to her eye level and tell her to "be nice and share"

My seed is 12, I don’t mind exposing her to certain things. Because she’ll ask me what do they mean by that...

Question now is, when do you decide what age to play music with profanity?

Peppa pig talk back game gonna have kids get they shoulders clapped

She stay salty
Throwin that toddler shade
That epsidoe when she hung up on her friend when SHE couldmt whistle and her friend could lol

^both my kids like Peppa Pig

saw a live Peppa Pig show show about two years ago with the older one

other shows they (some mostly the older one) watch are Daniel tiger :emoji_thumbsup:, PJ Masks, something like Super Creatures on Netflix, Barbie :emoji_thumbsdown: (hasn't been for awhile though, broke that habit), sometimes Baby Einstein for the little one :emoji_thumbsup::emoji_thumbsup::emoji_thumbsup:

Baby Einstein is good for younger ones...they can start that around age 1 at my house

haven't watched in awhile but I would watch Storybots on Netflix with my older one, wish they would put out more episodes

My son is 11 so now I'm less against it but still try to minimize it. I'll play some NERD or Cyhi, Outkast, Goodie Mob or if I'm feeling giving I'll play something recent that I think he knows.

My lil ones get a lil bit of everything. Music is going fast enough to where I don't think they can pick up the vast majority of it

something like Super Creatures on Netflix

Prob Super Mosters if it's the one with the toddler Frankenstein and Werewolf and such. Daughter loved that show at first site

^that's it

I'm guilty of playing music w/ profanity but if it's a lot and the profanity is more pronounced I'll end up changing it

sometimes I'll turn down the volume quickly when there is a curse word if I know the song well enough but I usually don't know them as well as I think I do : /

I like to listen to the all out show when I leave work but almost always have to pick up my kids at daycare 15 minutes into my commute and Jude drops eff bombs every two seconds so it's short lived

I remember ridin' and Some Cut started playin' I was a lil upset them kids was in the whip lol

I've watched Tangled and Elena of Avalor with my daughter.

Tangled is really good writing wise.

Elena is cool. But you can tell that Gabe is thinking about making his move on Elena lol

I can agree on Tangled being good, watched it back when I was teaching. I try to avoid kids movies that I hate cause I'm not living through my girls lovin' a crap movie ie Frozen. Right now their fav movie is Baby Boss, Despicable Me 3, and Angry Birds
