OFFICIAL NYk '22 offseason thread, RJ extended

Only disappointment tonight was Obi. Everyone out there bricking 3s and getting theirs and dude was just none existent.

MF is your time to shine and push the ball, F it go for it.

Now that's disappointing.

Besides that all these struggle 3s and Evan were a disaster.

well that isn't the way to run randle out of town
Honestly RJ’s game is a really good reason to still consider it but they would need to trade him for good talent and not just picks and prospects. With that said we know the FO doesn’t have the imagination or balls to try that so expect a mediocre rest of the season and maybe they package a good player with Fournier to get him the heck out of here.

^ obi didnt do jack with his additional playing time lol... but it seemed like a bad night in general... only 2 guys in double figures in points and we missed a ton of free throws and 3 pointers SMH

Seems like a combination of cold shooting and Thibs not really running plays.

Obi plays with great energy but his overall skillset is limited. That means you gotta draw up plays to get the most out of what he can actually do and Thibs isn't gonna do that.

RJ goes for 35 last game if he wasn’t just coming back from COVID protocols. Everyone’s timing was off & the kids need time to gel. Been said 4th yr RJ is who they really need to watch out for. Not bad going 50% from the field while shooting 1/8 from distance.

Should prolly screenshot the doubters b4 they jump back on the bandwagon but idc enough for all that ****. Y’all know who y’all are.

These lineups are different to say the least.

Looks like Obi at the 5 & Knox II at 4.

As much as Knicks fans want the team to play certain player more minutes …. They aren’t ready just yet

i think that's partially true, but the fact that they dont get consistent PT contributes to that. this game had a lot of guys playing together for the first time, in roles that they aren't accustomed to.
