I've noticed that we didn't have one of these floating around, so let's begin.

Paint ball is always something that i've enjoyed over the years. Lately for some reason i got the urge. I'm finally bought my first marker/kit (Spyder MR1 sniper) so no pix yet (its in the mail). I'm debating on which mask to get next, the Angel Eyes or Dye i4.

So all my fellow paint ball heads feel free to share stories, strategies, pix, ideas etc... I'm down to have a summit paintball style since we can't seem to get Pluckers in order. I'm in Austin btw.

I used to go paintballing alot a few years back.

I have my old phoenix spyder and a mini oracle autococker with eblade.
I have a barrel set, halo feeder, nitrous tank for the oracle.

You don't have to spend alot on a mask. Just keep it clean. They're all the same.

Nice set. As far as mask go i agree with you for the most part. I wear glasses so i need something thats comfy with them on. Was fogging an issue for you? From what i see a lot of these new gen mask have antifog lenses and stuff on them, ehh i duno. I'm also caught up in wanting a sexy looking mask.

What I wouldn't do to find a new set of woods that people play in around here. Probably the only thing I enjoy more than skateboarding. Its been a few years but I have a Spyder Victor 2 with a rodeo I think its called something gauge..its been a while..and a 12v ball fin thing that pushes the balls down. All taped in many layers of scotch tap.

Hopefully i can play often. Once or more a month. Paintball and hitting the gun range, the two things i need to do more often

we went last year twice (first time)

my boy who was on the other team was on one side of a big boulder and i was on the other side, i told him to surrender, but he responds "im not going down that easy lol"

boom, shot him right in the head...felt kinda bad after seeing a huge bump on his forehead

I just hated how the balls start to add up in price but that wouldn't be a problem now that im older lol. Question: I've always been skeptical to arena woods balls as I didst think it would feel like the real thing.

hahaha. i got hit on my neck, back of head, groin. comes with the teritorry. The only time i surrendered was when i ran out of ammo and i was by myself. my closest team mate was too far to help and i was surrounded by at least six guys.

Manguda; i havent tried that yet alone heard of it, but i will look into it.

Stay low.
Keep your eyes and ears open.
Shoot first, question later.
Know where your teammates are and dont shoot them.
Keep track of your ammo, nothing worse than running out of balls when you're in a firefight with someone else. (Personal experience

Ended up taking 4 to the stomach/chest)
Dont worry about being shot, it doesnt hurt that bad.
Most important: Do not corner yourself in a building or anything like that. If you get surrounded or even have to go 2 on 1, you're done.

I miss paintballing. I still have my practice gun in my closet, a Piranha something. Terrible little gun, but it worked

Still got all my gear, actually. Anyone want an electric hopper?

Maybe a mask?

Playing in Florida was terrible. Long sleeve shirts, jeans, facemask and hat while running around in the woods was excruciating. I remember one game I got shot in the facemask and having paint spray all over my face. It was the worst thing I ever experienced on the field

That $*!% hurt, stained my face for like 2 days, and got all in my mouth and nose.
