Lol na dude. Im getting my BS in IT though...I tried to study for A+ but honestly I highly doubt anyone has gotten "great" job by getting their a+ that !%%# is so simple and basic computer knowledge outside of the printer section. Id rather take the college experience than the entry level certs out there.

I got them as part of a computer maintenance class at my old HS, got me interested in working at being an IT.
I'm gonna start college for my basics in August, working on getting my engineering degree, A+ and if I go for the C++ is just gonna be something to fall back on.

good luck with the engineering degree, do you know what kind yet?
I was EE but just witched to Computer after last semester, my school doesn't have software for undergrads only grad school. Figure just get my BS in computer then get a masters in software
Your school doesnt offer any programming classes? Damn its a pre-req at UCF to take both C and Java classes. Im currently in a visual basics class now
indifferent.gif
. But I have already taken Java in HS for AP Computer Science. Whats your exact major?

yeah we have a pretty large CS department actually, just don't have Software Engineering for undergraduates only graduate. Java was useless I will probably never use that but I took it anyway.
I want to learn Python, I've seen a good amount of people at my job using it. I've taken about the same amount of CS classes as I have for engineering, I should minor in it but really don't want to take a speech class.
I hate public speaking, like legit afraid of it.

You know most implementations of Python scripting that i've seen have came from the open source community and to be honest I dont want any business with the open source community. No money in it.

Can anyone recommend me a good HTPC case. Im going to put my rig into a HTPC case and just keep this %*%!! in my living room. Im going to buy a macbook in the near future and will use that for all the simple +!%% I need in my day (Mostly school and just moving around the apartment).

Also if we can discuss software in this thread...IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY USE MEDIAMONKEY PLEASE USE IT RATHER THAN iTUNES. MediaMonkey is hands down the BEST music management software and player out there.

For my people with SSDs:
http://www.ssd-life.com/eng/screenshots.html (Great SSD info tool).
