What the **** just happened to ram prices?
+SDD +HDD. A I, thanks.

Plus scarcity. I ordered a NAS, still waiting on the HDDs weeks later.

What happened
Cot damn AI, component prices are going up, right now it's ram. Was looking at adding a set I bought for 140 earlier this year and it now it's 280.

Wasn't looking forward to a 5080 super but that's not looking good.

It’s an expensive time for PC Builders. Things could improve (maybe).

As far as the GPUs, I’m assuming we’re still in the same sellers market due to scarcity.

Fo ninety FE…

I tried for da 5 but never could scoop from BB. I’m okay with waiting for the 6000 series.

They’re getting slammed for being monopolistic on the PC side.

Seems like the next battle is Microsoft versus Valve since their products have a lot of overlap. Microsoft leaning more toward streaming.

Doubt that's real but they do hint that something is coming.
Valve hasn't confirmed anything but it seems that someone found the images on the website of the official Steam deck distributor in Japan. There are also pics of the new VR headset.

So there it is a chance it might be real

These products have been rumored for months now too.

3 out of the 4 big Valve rumors seem to be lining up.

The only one left is.....Half Life 3.

Will probably cop them all. Well, depends on what lens the VR has. Sounds like there will be some future Steam Deck news too.

Don't know why it's designed exactly like a router though.

I'm late to the party but I had no idea this "Amazon Luna" gaming existed until last night.

Free games and it recognizes controller inputs?

Currently playing Top Spin 2K25 (And you can play folks online)

I decided to get a new laptop. Got whatever the smallest RAM configuration cuz I was going to upgrade to 64 GB. Sent the laptop back after seeing ridiculous RAM prices of $600+.

The Linus show talks about it (again) this week.

If that’s true, they’re literally increasing the price 150%!!

The only one getting screwed are consumers as these suppliers are peddling to hungry data centers. And they continue to circulate this imaginary AI economy of these AI and tech companies.

High-end PC gaming is cooked unless you want to pay exorbitant prices or rent the owners of high end expensive components game streaming as a service.
