That's a nice portrait of your "lil man" I really like the horizontal framing but the vertical crop is awkward. you cut off his hands. There are some semi formal rules to portaiture and cuting people off at weird points (like their hands) is one. If the image went even a couple inches lower it would be way good... but it's nice nonethless I like slight cool tone to the image. also if you opened up the lens (lower f-stop) alittle bit I think it would help aswell sort of draw the focus a bit more...

I rarely shoot people, I probably have about 15-25 pics of people and some of them browse NT and they DO browse this thread

The thing is I'm insecure and even though I'd love to take people's portraits taken but I think I'll come off as a creep

^ When did you make a trip to Chicago?

Hopefully you didnt spend too much time on Navy Pier its like the biggest tourist trap in the midwest. But wrigleyville is super live, lots of fun bars, if you were there over the weekend I was in an Apt. just out of sight of right field on addison.

I was there from last Weds. to Sunday. Yeah...Navy Pier a hot "come and go" type deal. Nothing crazy but I guess we did it to do it. Everything else was so fun. Night life is cool and everything closes so late. Compared to SF, Chicago is such a clean city. No graffitti and even trash on the ground. Great place......and I would even live there if I had the chance.......
