Dude you're down playing the discrimination black people face in credit markets. So what if it is not universal
It still goes, on, is a major problem. It going on at all is unacceptable.
You see what I was talking about? Why should black people want to continue to integrate into that?!Dude you're down playing the discrimination black people face in credit markets. So what if it is not universal

You saw that huh? lololol.Silly to think that housing financing would have anything to do with housing discrimination(sarcasm)

The ancestors had it worse, survived much worse, then would be on our side if the effort were made. America is headed for a financial downfall, and Trump is gathering up the minions just in case it happens under his watch. My hope is more like a wish, but if and when this country fails, black people are going to have no other choice. Just watch, it is about to get rough out here. This doesn't provide evidence to your point at all.
-Because there is a flip side like dude mentioned, neither way is universal
-So now black people have to build the own credit and lending system too? Do you know what kind of monumental task that is.
-The major problems are a) information problems that allow black people to get finessed b) weak enforcement of discrimination laws. Stronger consumer protection laws and enforcement are more sensible thing to fight for instead of moving toward complete separation. And lending through trustworthy outlets
I don't get why you guys are attacking SneakerPro
Dude is trying to help out victims of discriminatory loans
He may have underestimated the discrimination, but that doesn't mean he's willfully trying to ignore the situation

I just think at times, even I sometimes do this, we dismiss another person's experience quick and don't allow them to get on common ground. What eventually happens is that it gets to the point of throwing shade. That's never gonna win people over.I don't get why you guys are attacking SneakerPro

people just see that he's not in agreement and stop reading
So just so we are on the same page, because two companies discriminated against minorities, no Black people can get fair loans in 2016?
I'm not even going to debate this and I'll actually provide a somewhat of a solution. If anyone wants to buy a home in a minority neighboorhood PM me.
Only thing dude is good for now.Pics of the rich wife.
Son basically want to form his own country (I assume within in this country). You see what I was talking about? Why should black people want to continue to integrate into that?!Dude you're down playing the discrimination black people face in credit markets. So what if it is not universal

This doesn't provide evidence to your point though

But getting a higher interest rate for being black is still discrimination.
We're past being able to obtain a loan.
How can people find trustworthy lenders though? There has to be some community support where people can spread word of mouth that certain lenders are willing to help you in your investmentBut getting a higher interest rate for being black is still discrimination.

There are enough lenders that won't tax you today, you simply have to shop around like anything else.

Youve made some quite interesting post in this thread and many valid points but some Black theorist believe just the opposite about busing kids out of their neighborhood.Dude we are not integrated, that is the problem.
Black communities are still segregated like crazy, if your upper middle class black, you more likely to be living around lower class middle class black people that white people in your same income bracket. School busing was a major success for black kids, and it being rolled back is one of the reason our school are so bad.
You mention the loan thing. You like many other black people think it is a combined effort of racist lenders just to target black people, which in some cases it is true, but one of the reason is that black people are segregated into neighborhoods, those neighborhood have a lot of crime, those neighborhoods have a lot of lower income people, and just by algorithm, a black person might be flagged as a higher risk lender and denied a loan. These types of statistical discrimination would only get worst if we separate ourselves more.
Because the way our schools are funded, black schools would get under funded, infrastructure projects like highways would go right through black neighborhoods, police will target black neighborhoods. Matter of fact, there will be one giant target on our backs.
There problem is not that we integrated, it is we didn't integrate all the way, and in most cases our neighborhoods are extremely segregated.
Separation sounds nice, but it is a major hustling backwards move.
-That would be the GOP dream too. Black people all in one area so gerrymandering is now a breeze, and we know which places get less voting stations
I think this is the issue that some posters were referring too, the "sure" part is huge on a group minorities.Do I think certain companies prey on minorities? Sure.
Sad part the city, soon the island of Manhattan will be Disney Land for the people who have.If you are black, no it isn't. Ever been to Harlem?
Before you paint such a broad stroke of " its so easy to get a loan" try meeting some of the people in your town.My dude discrimination takes place in every facet of American life, I'm not arguing that.
What I am arguing that in 2016 given the wealth of lending options available to Black people in America today is possible with a small amount information to receive fair mortgage damn near anywhere in America.
I believe this so much I will literally personally help folks if need be.
“We have lost over 60 seats since 2010,” he said. “We have the fewest Democrats in state and federal offices since Reconstruction. At this time of fear and disillusionment, we owe it to our constituencies to listen and bring a new voice into leadership.”
Ryan argued that everyone in the party should reevaluate their roles, not only in the House Democratic caucus, but in the Democratic Party and the nation.
