Besides, isn't CPR training mandatory for all students anyway? It should be if it's not. I had mandatory CPR training twice, once in high school and later again in nursing school.
In high school it was pretty early if I recall correctly, 7th or 8th grade I believe. It was a mandatory part of our physical exercise class. Our PE teacher was qualified to teach CPR training but the local branch of the Red Cross non-profit organization is always willing to provide a professional instructor for free. They always provided the testing equipment (those CPR training dolls etc) to the schools too.
It's very easy to learn and depending on the size of your class and how long it takes for everyone to successfully perform CPR on a training doll you could be done in an hour with learning the technique.
Then it's just a matter of running through some practical tests to test your response in different scenarios that require some form of first aid. What to do or not to do in various scenarios etc.

As someone who's not American living in America, it's always baffled me why a document written hundreds of years ago is the be all end all to everything. Evolve with the times, adapt and grow. This isn't ****ing Lord of the Rings. Why don't we go back to riding horses too.

I understand the relevance and importance of the Constitution, but people use it too often to protect their own agenda, almost like how extreme Christians use the Bible to discredit gay marriage.
Here's the thing about the constitution, it's a living document that's meant to change. Ignoring the bill of rights, there have been nearly 20 changes to the constitution over the years, half of which came in the 20th century. But when you talk to some people, it's almost like this isn't known to them. Americans have a fascination with the bill of rights and disregard all the other amendments as if they're less important or in some cases non-existent. To them the 10 commandments and the first 10 amendments are both the indelible word of God. They're not.

Being CPR trained is generally a requirement based off the job you have.
I worked with kids, so I needed it. but it is not something that is mandated in highschools from my experience Belgium Belgium

I'm a military police officer and I absolutely have to have it. But in high school it wasn't mandatory for us, but we did watch a video.

Santorum too soft for my liking famb

CPR? How about Squeeze AR's b? Bet nobody will get shot if every teacher, student, and custodian is strapped. It's like da nuclear deterrent b.

Mutual Assured Destruction B. Uncle Ronald taught us about this during Da Cold War. If everyone has yappas then LIBS won't try anything.

It’s what christians do with the Bible (Disney for adults). They pick and choose a handful of sentences and completely ignore the parts about 3 headed snake monsters and sky demons that come out of women who cut their hair too short

Constitution is continuously reinterpreted by the supreme court too.
CONTINUOUSLY. But one opinion that has remained consistent amongst justices throughout US history is that the 2nd amendment does not grant unfettered permission to have and carry weapons.

Santorum reminds me of Evan from Bruce Almighty

Also the first amendment only applies to things that don’t offend them, and the fourth amendment doesn’t apply to people of color.

And the 13th amendment should be scrapped.
Which is what Roy Moore essentially said in 2011 when stating that getting rid of the amendments after the 10th "would eliminate many problems with the US government"
