Which is why all this appeasement thing Joe is doing better be a smokescreen. He shouldn't wait for the GOP to come to their senses to get stuff started.

Here's the thing: these fools consistently push the envelope with their stunts, and Democrats NEVER punish them. Never. Instead, they play the waiting game, and it consistently backfires. They did it with the Supreme Court and they lost the ability to control the judicial agenda for decades. It took a one-of-a-kind idiot and a historical pandemic to see Democrats regain the White House. The last thing they should be doing is give the GOP 6-8 months to pump fake.

Joe should tell those "senior Congresspeople" to hang up the phone and go public with their statements of support and cooperation. They should tell them "we're hitting the ground running with healthcare, infrastructure, education reform, and you can follow us or stand to the side" and when the GOP starts the legislative blockade, they should take it to the airwaves and call all those fools by name.
