From that distance, someone with a hunting rifle, and optic, and is knows there way around a gun could make it.

Im not a gun person either. I do know 600 feet is really far for something as small and light weight as a bullet.

Id need to really trust someone to believe the level of difficulty for that shot wasn't high.

gun guy. not exactly an easy or hard shot. definitely takes some training but nothing to wild. honestly he was probably aiming for the body. and while adjusting for bullet drop hit higher

I think when evaluating the difficulty of the shot, it’s probably not best to abstract to 200 yards down range aiming at a target. Whoever did this was committed to murdering someone. I’m not sure they were in a calm frame of mine.

A friend of mine was a marine Captain who saw real combat. He said that no group of people get more training, practice, range time - whatever - than a US Marine. And still he had no idea how any of his marines would act while under fire and shooting to kill.

Maybe it’s a shot that doesn’t require a trained sniper, but whoever did it had some considerable time practicing the kinds of shots that you don’t practice at your local range or gun club.
