I mean the Catholic church is the original cult and verified pedo ring. I view this as a battle of the the pedo rings - Epstein v. Catholic Church

Catholics live in guilt and shame. They are too afraid take a stand on anything. Their wedge issue is abortion - which the Catholic Church completely denounces at all levels. So they are indoctrinated to think that they should vote for the pro-life party which has always been Republican. They view abortion as "a holocaust everyday"

Who cares is the Republican party is a racist cesspool of hate? A holocaust is happening every day...

Who cares if the economy is trash and layoffs are happening? A holocaust is happening every day...

Who cares if inflation through the roof? A holocaust is happening every day...

Who cares if the US are bombing countries to satisfy the ego of a fickle and small orange blob? A holocaust is happening every day..

Who cares if we go to a WW3 nuclear doomsday led by a tyrant who knows he is on his last laps and doesn't care who who takes with him? You get the point..

The irony of it all is that catholics get their human gestation science from an institution that covered up systematic child SA rape for like 80 years (confirmed) and probably much much much longer before that.

Despite this whole "make love, not war" stuff that pope has been going on about, the catholic church DOES NOT get a pass.

This all fine and dandy, but the maga cult leader is waging a war that’s killing innocent men women and children, looting the country, cutting aid to millions, and doing everything in his power to cover up a verified pedo ring. The catholic cult leader (the pope) isn’t doing those things.

And based on my anecdotal experience the most conservative Catholics I spoke to the repeal of Roe v Wade is what they are clinging too as justification for all this BS. They consider Trump to be the payment of that…. Though man did they get mad when I mentioned the idea that Trump wasn’t a payment for repealing abortion but a punishment for it. The response got hostile and personal because that idea hurt their ego/cognitive dissonance something fierce.

I don’t know if they are supporting him going forward. They also know there isn’t much more he can do on abortion and a national repeal seems unlikely and they accept he is about to lose congress. I think they thought he would be able to do it near the end of his term, but none of the Trump supporters I spoke too expected even half the **** show we are seeing daily.

They’ve given up on him doing what they want though they still support him.

As a Christian I agree with this statement. I still remember when I first realized this was a problem goes back to GW Bush. Before him, my church didn’t talk politics but leading up to his election it went from subtle statements like “vote your conscience” to during Trump’s first term they were passing out lists of candidates that shared “our values”. Sadly you also have a counter movement of Christian Nationalists that have their own separate candidate lists which includes even more extreme people. I love that my donations to my church and other ministries are going to help people and I like the tax benefits that I get, but the tax free status of clearly Christian Nationalist organizations needs to be revoked.
