No they had gear for the event too which would’ve caused questions “ What is Magic City, Dad?”

The NBA already has enough perceived cultural problems. Stop trying to make the culture ratchet.
It freaks me out to learn theg have a prayer at this? Is it non-denominational? What if someone is a atheist or something? I know it's not a public funded event so it's absolutely allowed but it's still out of pocket to me.

It's just weirdness. Like either the internet has made these people weird or they were always weird and the internet just lets us witness their weirdness. However I am absolutely tired of being forced to engage with their weird beliefs like its credible. I am not an expert on a lot of topics but I know enough to know these people are spreading gonzo theories like they are facts.

It went from gaslighting to everything is on fire… but it's not all right.

I honestly think that is the next step of what Walz was saying. It's not just identifying these people are weird it's explaining that they will force their weird beliefs on people which has to be communicated. They aren't just happy being weird in their corners of the country, they are offended if you don't act weird like them.

If you don't glaze Trump’s failures they accuse you of being sick and call it Trump Delusion Syndrome. It started out as a gag but these weird people believe it like its an actual disease because they are morons.

Thanks to our definitely impartial SC, even publicly funded events are allowed to do this. There was a high school football coach here in the Seattle area that made his team pray before games so the school district fired him when some players complained.

Dude went on a whole crusade and press tour about his beliefs and he "just wants to coach the kids" but moved to florida after the SC sided with him and awarded him a couple million. He never coached them again.

Absolute scumbag behavior.

More wood for the fire that we have to pack the supreme court. If you read the dissents of kagan, Jackson, and Sotomayer they basically keep asking for help.

The DOJ is not suppose to be his personal lawyers BUT like I said the constitution is dead. If things like this are allowed the democrats need to come to terms with how dead it is.

Honestly after today between Louisana throwing out votes and the DOJ opening an investigation into a Virginia politician because she led the democrats gerrymanderibg and Patel opening an investigation into someone who investigated his girlfriend. I am done talking. Don't even get me started on the threat made about Powell leaving the Fed.

There is nothing else to say.

I told ya’ll the constitution was killed this week after being on life support for year and we immediately see that.

A certain set of things have to happen to stop the free fall of democracy in America or I am heading to Canada and taking my family. I would recommend anyone in America with sense leaves to. If those thing do or don't happen I’ll post about it.

This reporting on this administrations nonsense is cathartic but today was a Rubicon day and its not even getting major news coverage. I am seeing more quotes on Trump and Obama than I am on the ******** we saw. Meanwhile Meta and Amazon are having record profits and expanding into larger monopolies.

I don’t know what’s worse. Listening to co-workers repeat the lies and propaganda that they hear from the media, or actually doing the research myself and seeing how bad things are—and can potentially become.

Either way, I’m mentally exhausted.

Trump and his gang of thugs want us to believe it’s a done deal. And while there are major reasons for concern, he’s in a much weaker position than a Putin or an Orban.

-He doesn’t have majority popular support.

-federalism frustrates his designs of centralizing power.

-Gerrymanders can backfire spectacularly.

-Community defense and mutual aid is getting stronger every day.

-The median American does not tolerate high prices indefinitely. They can tolerate injustice but persistently high gas prices sends them to the barricades.

-There is no successor to Trump whatsoever. This whole project rides of the health of a very sick, very old man and his cult of personality.

-the state civil service and military largely don’t like him and that acts as a major check on his ability to create illegal power centers within the state.

These are definitely fraught times but I think that we could see a revanchist Democratic Party in 2027 and in 2029. If that’s the case, we can be hopeful.

Now, if the Democratic majorities decide to be conciliatory towards the regime/former regime, then it’s time to get things set up to emigrate.

MAGAs have rapidly defined defeat downward. Short of Tehran dictating terms in Washington, the US hasn’t lost by MAGA reckoning.

On the global chessboard though, the US has been defeated.

The US will t retreat tomorrow. The Empire is still very powerful. But thus venture was clearly a loser.

Gulf Monarchies are checking out. The original belligerent, Israel, has found that Tel Aviv is not invincible. And most importantly, Iran is the master of the Straight of Hormuz.

This is America’s Suez Crisis. Like the British Empire, most of the elite press refuses to acknowledge this defeat but global powers and global markets can see what is actually happening.
