Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was one of millions of mourners who poured into Tehran dressed in black on Monday to escort the slain supreme leader's coffin through the capital.
The former hardline president, who governed from 2005 to 2013, was declared dead by several Iranian state-affiliated media outletson the opening day of the war, when Israeli and US strikes killed Ayatollah Khamenei and much of the country's leadership.

Nobody is saying “debate him”. I said I understand his approach. I don’t agree it’s effective at all.
I just don’t buy that he’s naive, has a blind spot, or what he’s doing is effective. It’s terrible take after terrible take……ceding ground to ridiculous right wing opinions And then a light pushback
. There is really nothing to EXPOSE with Rufo. Hes been mask off since forever. None of this is effective. To me, it just another note I take down about Klein. Not mad at him, just more that I noticed.

Putting your head in the sand and pretending people like Rufo don't exist and thinking you can ignore them until they disappear is a totally failed strategy. and imo is as a big reason we got Trump.
I remember people laughing at Rufo when he said he was going to turn CRT into a big thing. and then look what happened.
can't just look down your nose at these people. it doesn't work.

. I remember telling you about Joe Rogan (not saying Klein is the same, not saying Klein is the same, not saying Klein is the same, not saying Klein is the same)…..But it is EXHAUSTING at this point to keep painting these guys as naive or a blind spot.
To not understand the frustration with this kind of “journalist” is wild to me….but we differ.

I suggest people listen or read the full interview between Ezra Klein and Chris Rufo.
Couple things I noticed:
-Klein and Rufo agree on some premises disagree on others
-They don't have the same general worldview
-Klein challenges Rufo on many things without being combative. That his style, frustrating at times, but that is how he is.
-Rufo does make a lot of true accurate analysis, even if the left. You get a clear picture of how he was able to finesse the situation so well and become so successful. ( he is probably the most successful activist of the past decade)
-Klein is right about how priming identity backfired hard on the left politically.
The interview is nearly two hours. Like 60 pages of reading. I suggest anyone wanting to making a compete judgement of a piece, take the time. Don't just rely on your timeline.

There are a decent amount of rumors his campaign is running out of money.
This could be interesting because we might see the party give him money if they think he has a shot AND what does that do to his profile as an outsider, because he’s running as an outsider.
