Oh, Cankles McTacot*ts can royally **** all the way off with this ****! Like he will actually stick to this deal. I'm sure come Jan 1st 2027 the deal will be a figment of our imagination and the process get jacked up.

As someone who takes lots of medication (for the rest of my life) to basically not die of organ rejection, all my meds are made overseas. He can kiss my ***! 🤬🤬🤬

I hope all of MAGA who voted for this POS, are on meds that are made overseas and they eventually can't afford them in time. The "Find Out" stage is going to be incredible for those people. But they'll figure out a way to blame Obama, or Biden, or Clinton, or someone not in the party. Jeebus we have a lot of dumb people voting. Poor bastard dumb! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Reason #479 why I hate this country! 😞
Some branded medications are wildly expensive too compared to other medications that don’t have a generic option, even over here.

Example from my prescriptions:
Tramadol 200mg extended release: €2 for a box of 60
Zopiclone 7.5mg: €28 for a box of 30

Literally all my other prescriptions combined, which is a lot, don’t even come close to half of that 1 box of Zopiclone.

Thankfully Ambien has a generic variant (Zolpidem) that’s also like €2 a box but I switch between that and Zopiclone every few months to keep my sleeping med tolerance in check.

These times feel a lot like this work of fiction. Poverty, police state, and endless wars propped up by corrupt mofos.

(This is a great read BTW, but you'll have to gloss over the anti-government libertarian leanings of the author in the last 2/3rds of the story).
Gotta defend the bubble gut monopoly by any means necessary.

The level of propaganda within the US is unmatched.

Saudi Arabia is the government that couldn’t get the intel on their own people preparing 9/11, and the US is going to trust them with uncontrolled uranium enrichment without anyone calling for a time out.

Oh, and it looks like more pieces for a a nuclear winter are being put into place:

The models identified and chained vulnerabilities across OpenAI’s research environment and Hugging Face’s production infrastructure to obtain test solutions directly from Hugging Face’s production database. All evidence suggests that the models were hyperfocused on finding a solution for ExploitGym, going to extreme lengths to achieve a rather narrow testing goal.

While operating in our sandboxed testing environment, our models spent a substantial amount of inference compute finding a way to obtain open Internet access, in pursuit of solving the evaluation problem. To gain access, the models identified and exploited a zero-day vulnerability (which we’ve now responsibly disclosed to the vendor) in the package registry cache proxy. With this access, our models performed a series of privilege escalation and lateral movement actions in our research testing environment until the models reached a node with Internet access.

After gaining Internet access, the models inferred that Hugging Face potentially hosted models, datasets and solutions for ExploitGym. Knowing this, the model searched for and successfully found ways to gain access to secret information that it could use to cheat the evaluation. In one example, the model chained together multiple attack vectors, including using stolen credentials and zero-day vulnerabilities to find a remote code execution path on the Hugging Face servers. OpenAI’s security team discovered this anomalous activity internally.

Centrists really feeling the hurt, eh? 🤣
There are tons of liberals and progressives that think Hasan is sorta a jackass as well though.

Because, I mean, he is.

I understand why he has fans, but his fan are really delusional about his appeal.

It is limited, he says a ton of dumb **** no one should try to tie themselves too, he doesn't care about winning elections, so in turn he doesn't care about gaining power and making people's lives better. His main object his a leftist takeover of the Democratic Party. Even if that means hurting the Dems chances of winning elections.

The antebellum south was so awful that being known for “simply” for having a large share of its population in chattel slavery, is kind of a propaganda/PR coup.

Few know about its system of mass incarceration, surveillance and informant network, endemic corruption, horrendous public health/diets, non existent infrastructure, unstable economy, as well as the poverty and servility experienced by most southern whites.

Hyper exploitation of a racial underclass poisons everything in a society. Plunder, coercion, and dishonesty bleeds into every facet of life.

Qualitatively, this is the worst economy I’ve experienced in terms of day-to-day life and the general vibe. Most of the people whom I knew in 08-09 and still hang out with now range from upper-middle class, professional class and few petite bourgeoisie and they have all reigned in their spending big time. This despite the fact that their wages are much higher than in 08-09 and they have some degree of economic security from their families assets (ranging from trust funds down to the ability to move back home and live rent-free). Even the ones who get income from rents and investments, reinvest everything. Even for those on the right side of the K-shaped economy, inflation and economic pessimism are supressing consumption. But there's something even more powerful at work here, dread. Unless things radically change, everything will be privatized, the cost of health care and education will keep going up, the dollar is in danger of losing its reserve currency status, and a handful of billionaire tech bros are selling their latest technology as being the destroyer of good jobs.

So Milton Friedman had an idea called the "Permanent Income Hypothesis." The idea is that assuming that households have sufficient access to credit, households will not change their marginal propensity to consume in a manner that closesly mirrors the fluctutaions of top-line macro economic numbers. Durning temporayer downturns and marginal losses of income or asset depreciation, household will borrow in order to offset their short-term losses. During good times, they will pay back what they borrowed in bad times. Friedma argued that there will be high marghinal propensity to consume if the fundamentals of an economy are strong.

I'd argue that in many ways, he was correct as far as the 08-09 GFC indicated. The top 10% of wealth and income holders (minus the top .01%) saw the crisis as transitory, had economic backstops in terms of assets, and could borrow in a way that papered over temporay loses in asset value and in returns from investments.

In 2026, the Permanent Income Hypothesis still holds true among the top 10% (minus the top. 01%) but the distressing parts is that this top 10% (less the super wealthy) have made a vote of no confidence towards the US's Economy's fundamentals. Their consumer spending has dropped and it is saying that hard times are ahead unless there is major structural change. This is why low unemployment numbers, high stock prices, and generally low inetrest rates have not moved the needle very much.

I would argue this is all connected. We don’t know if unemployment is low. The manipulation of data and the belief things are fixed to look one way when the reality is opposite to manufacture good news is another factor in stagflation. Consumer confidence is low… it isn’t a light switch. It could take years to get people buying things again or it could just be the next president overturns Trump’s policies. Trump has done so much wrong when it comes creating consumer confidence it’s almost impossible to say what steps are going to be needed to restore it.

This is completely ignoring the reality of drone warfare….. and the fact they will destroy their neighbors if America tries to destroy them.

Flipside I been saying this for damn near a decade now. Is there any chance Trump is the ******* AntiChrist.

Like if would explain soooooo much. From the pedophilia to him trying to blow up the Middle East.

Sounds like you just described a white Republican male. Nothing special about him

People could never start buying again.

My boss is so scarred from 2008 he lives like we’re in poverty.

I kind of like it though production could be at an all time low and “idc equipments paid for just work 8 hours”

All Trump is doing is giving them the official go ahead to use the nuclear secrets they stole from his bathroom at Mara Lago.

The most unpopular war in American history from the offset (took years for public opinion to sour on every other conflict) with broad public disapproval from all sides the aisle, yet the only move being made continiously is escalation after escalation to what end?

Even Bibi is publicly distancing himself from it right now....

What’s the odds there isn’t any goals.
Trump is just acting like a king because the SC gave him immunity like he is one?

Like what if he is so stupid and narcissistic and greedy. Like what if the US is being ran by a aging sociopath?

No strategy makes a lot more sense tbh :lol

Very much feels like making it up on the go but at some point the continued negative reverberations on the global economy and US strategic interests will force his hand right?

Or he's straight up a mad King with absolute power to legitimately do whatever he wants until he croaks?
