He’s an enforcer. That could improve the Strong Safety position for about 22 to 25 clubs. He’s gonna get a pay day in the 10 million a year range is what they’re predicting.

But the 49ers look to have that kind of player with Jaquiski Tartt maybe even Marcell Harris.

I would love for the team to go after Pierre Desir (6’1 corner)who will command around 7-9 million a year. And go after Tyrann Mathieu who will also command around 10 Million annually. Since the Earl Thomas dream seems over.

Would love to hear the team going after Brandon Graham as well he’s a consistent edge who has built a career on reliability a lot like Terrell Suggs.

And the edge can be solved in this draft. There are some very talented football players at the top of the draft.

Yup, he was one of the league's young elite cornerstone players, and then suddenly, he fell off the face of the earth lol.

You know who had a similar career arc in NY(peaks not as high)? Weston Richburg. If the Niners sign Collins, Tartt is probably gone. He's going into his last year, so it's not really a biggie.

He seems like one of the few likely edge defenders to become UFA in March.

With the way he played in playoffs and last weeks of the season I’d hope the team is interested.
