Should UnicornHunter’s faithful card be revoked for his blasphemous Patrick Willis comments?

With all the money the 49ers are under the cap... They better make some moves and front load those contracts

I don’t see any must extensions on the roster right now anyway, we’ll just Trent Brown

Crazy how good the Steelers have been at pumping out WRs over the last decade. Ju Ju is a beast. :smh:

2. San Francisco 49ers (0-8)

  1. The Pick: QB Sam Darnold, USC

Throughout the season my thought on the San Francisco 49ers was that general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan would use the expected more than $100 million in salary cap space to buy an offense in free agency. That idea loses steam if Kirk Cousins doesn't leave Washington after this season.

Hypothetically, what would the 49ers do if Cousins doesn't hit the free agent-market? Would they go after a Tyrod Taylor or Teddy Bridgewater type? It's possible, but my sources in San Francisco say the team loves Sam Darnold.

The USC redshirt sophomore has struggled at times this year with a diminished supporting cast and by putting too much pressure on himself to make plays that have led to turnovers. The talent that made him a top prospect over the summer is still there, though. Darnold's poise, football IQ, accuracy and mobility would be a perfect match for the Shanahan offense. And while Darnold's lack of arm strength might be a concern in Cleveland or Buffalo, the California kid would be right at home in Santa Clara.

Alright, I knew the season was going to be tough. But I didn't expect it to be this bad. Sheesh.

I would rather Draft Darnold and other pieces we need than give all that money to Cousins. Spend the money on free agents that will fit in and help immediately with the personnel we got.

Red, you see anyone on the 2018 FA list that you got your eye one already?

Bring Gore back so he can play one more year and retire :frown:

Little early but the first guys that come to mind are Malcolm Butler, Jarvis Landry, Justin Pugh, Weston Richburg, Brian Schwenke and Allen Robinson. Robinson is a little risky since he tore his ACL earlier this year, but the upside is huge. He and Pierre would be a really good WR combo. I expect the sexy guys like DeMarcus Lawrence to either get tagged or resigned.

Dude I promise you don’t want to take Darnold.
Turnover prone is the biggest concern you can have as a QB

Sam Darnold= Josh McCown

He will have hot stretches. But he will make a bonehad mistake in crunch time unless it’s versus a soft 3 man rush defense like Texas.

Back on Feb 8th

Wish we would have went with Watson :frown:
I know the general consensus in here is not a fan of Watson, but I've secretly always been hoping we get him. The guy is a winner. He seems to have good character and is intelligent. I think he's going to do well when he gets his chance in the NFL, and I don't want to be saying "what could've been" if we don't draft him.

The only other guys I'd take over Watson right now is Cousins or Jimmy G. Both a long-shot, so give me Watson over Cutler, Schaub, Kap, and Trubisky.

Witherspoon is the starter moving forward. Rashard needs to spend more time in the weight room and the playbook. Dude looks like he's frantically lost in this scheme.

So are you saying Witherspoon>>>>>>Rashard this season? :nerd:
