Let's not forget that Demeco's defense was buns well into like week 10 when he was DC. People were calling for his head. By the end of the season that year he was one of the hottest coaching candidates in the league because of our defense.

I’m 48 going on 50 and look waaaayyy younger than Shanahan

I was at Costco the other day and the 25-year old female cashier was hella flirtatious and when I told her my age she was in utter shock cause she thought I was 35ish

Nowadays they say “40 is the new 30.” For Shanahan “40 is the new 50”

Peep how Andy Reid hasn’t aged since his Philly days.

I don’t think we fully appreciated how important huf was to this team. Pre injury, he cleaned up a lot of coverage mistakes and was always in the right place at the right time. Not to mention, was an enforcer and strong tackler against the run. At a time where our pass rush isn’t generating a lot of pressure, this defense is missing Huf a lot. A rookie and a second year player anchoring the backend of your defense is a dangerous proposition but here we are.

Revisionist history, if he’s playing against the vikes, Jefferson doesn’t go off for that 97 yard touchdown because he takes far better angles than brown and odum

Huf is trash lol. That being said…we’re looking like a .500 team at best. This iteration of the 49ers has run its course.

This feels like a better and more salvageable version of the 2014 squad.

But constantly making deep runs and losing super bowls and not having anything to show for it takes a legit toll.

A lot of season left. But from a mental standpoint it just feels like one of those years. I hope I’m wrong.
