Its a da.mn shame that Joe Louis is so empty. I was thinking of hitting up game 5 but tickets start at $125 USD
Despite having such a great product, the NHL is horrible at marketing. Having a half-empty arena in the finals is inexcusable no matter how bad the economy is.
Also, back-to-back games in the NHL playoffs is ******ed. What happens if game 1 goes to double or triple overtime? Might as well hire Brian McNamee to startinjecting players prior to game 2.

^ theres empty seats in the bottom bowl but your gonna have that in any arena because those are corporate owned.

I actually noticed the empty seats as well......they were all kind of scattered so iono if it's got anything to do with corporate seats or not. I guessI'll have to see for myself tomorrow

Detroit got 2 pretty stupid goals on us - we didn't look great, but to only give up 1 bad goal and get 32 shots isn't a terrible outing in Detroit...still, I was hoping we'd look a lot better even if we lost. Detroit just takes us out of our game so well, this is the same way the finals started lastyear... it took til game 3 to get anything really going, so I hope we don't face the same fate.. it's so tough to dig out of 0-2, we NEED to wintomorrow or at least be a lot closer to winning to give us that mental edge.. because as good as detroit is, it's mostly just a mental thing right now, wemade a lot of stupid plays.

The Kader, Leino and Maltby line was such a huge lift. If we can get a game like that from our 3rd or 4th line every game we are tough to beat. The depth is sogood even without Draper and Dats. Not happy with the looks Geno was getting and as much as I hate Cindy he makes a lot out of nothing in situations. Going 2up would be a major plus for us. I was just happy to get by the first period being even. If it is a 1 goal game going into the final 10 minutes I am alwaysconfident in the Wings winning.

Good game by the wings last night! And I was pretty certain also that Joe Jouis Arena was packed last night. Attendance was 20,066. That is a sell out.
